we used empire limo, they were cheap and satisfactory, nothing special. our DJ however, was just absolutely phenomenal and would reccomend her/the company to everyone. toast and jam dj's, her name was carrie. They specialize in non-cheesy songs and we definitely had 3 or 4 polka's in there that everyone loved.

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jan 30, 2010 -> 02:36 PM) I f***ing hate this team ^ this is way worse than the 07-08 team and i despised that team. -
We've (Hertz) stopped renting toyota vehicles (minus the yaris). That is quite a big deal for us, considering our fleet is 20% toyotas.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 28, 2010 -> 11:43 AM) A win in a must-win situation is a good win. Dunno how you can disagree with that. a good win in that situation last night would have been a game that wasn't within two possessions in the final two minutes. They did nothing to make me think any better of them yesterday. Still a sloppy, dumb, two man team that is going nowhere this year. -

this illini game is just infuriating -
Hey y'all, I'm finishing up my prep for the GMAT. I'm taking it the first week in february. Who's taken it? Got any decent tips, experiences? I've been studying for about 2 months w/ a few different books. Kaplan/Manhattan/Official GMAT review. I'm not looking to get into a top b-school, more just applying to the ones in Chicago. I'm recently married, so will be staying put for awhile. I'm more just in the line of thinking that a better score = more scholarship money. Which will definitely be appreciated. I'm very pumped for this thing to be over with.

QUOTE (Tex @ Jan 24, 2010 -> 09:00 PM) Be certain you like the job, sometimes keeping a hobby you love works better than combining. Most of the golf professionals I know complain how they have no time to play. If you spend all your time doing "xyz" you may not see as many games or the variety. FWIW I'm with Tex on this one. I thought I wanted to have a career in sports..........then I worked in sports. I had two different internships w/ 2 different baseball teams. Working in sports is just like any other job....it's work. Except you get paid way less, work more (and crappier) hours, and have a way slimmer chance of getting promoted into a decent salary. Not to mention the fact that you are usually working when most of your teams are playing anyway, so you miss out on enjoying your hobby. Saying that, it was pretty damn cool to go to a baseball park for work everyday.

illini offense just looks completely lost. Mccamey trying to do everything and I really can't blame him. -
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jan 23, 2010 -> 10:31 AM) If it isn't all three playable, then I'm not interested. I'll wait until 2011 and play 2K8 again. i've never heard of anyone so adamant about such a little fact.

random question, but does corey crawford have any NHL future? He just popped into my head and I realized I haven't heard his name in months.

QUOTE (The Gooch @ Jan 17, 2010 -> 01:41 AM) 5 Guys is right around 157th and La Grange. It is in that little center with Starbucks and Potbelly right by Target. They have really good burgers as well, and their cajun fries kick butt. when did that open? I used to work a block away from there. (as of last year)

portillo's puts the perfect char on their burgers and is definitely my favorite. It just gets lost in the shuffle w/ all of their other glorious menu items.

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Jan 16, 2010 -> 04:15 PM) I hope they still have the feature in the new game where, no matter how bad you were kicking the computer's ass, they'd manage to fight their way back. Including the full court three pointer to win the game. It's frustrating moments like this that were so common in old SNES/NES games i just picked up the nba jam rom for my snes emulator, oh my god, i played it for 2 hours earlier today. just fantastic.

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jan 16, 2010 -> 03:21 PM) I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Jerry's dirty talk to Elaine's chatty secretary. "...you mean the panties your mother laid out for you?" I love George's reaction to it. "Well, that's not offensive. It's abnormal, but it's not offensive." "what does that mean?" "I don't know."

i hope the new nba jam still has the horrible logo/player graphics for the team select screen.

QUOTE (chwhtsox @ Jan 15, 2010 -> 03:41 PM) please don't take this as a shot at your company. Hertz is a lot higher than everyone else, what do they offer that the others don't? is it just one of those things that ends up balancing for them because they're cheaper on other cars? I pried it out and Fox is far and away the cheapest, after reading their horrible reviews I understand why. Advantage and Alamo are at about $300 with Enterprise being at $325...then Hertz is at $462. What are the differences between you guys? Quotes You're absolutely right. Technically we have "newer cars", while this is usually true, but if you don't care about that, then go cheaper. Hertz's specialty is the business traveler, who doesn't give a rat's ass about price, but rather ease of pickup/corporate billing, which we are the best at.

QUOTE (chwhtsox @ Jan 15, 2010 -> 01:59 PM) Going to Vegas January 30th, I would need to pick up the car around 5PM (airport code LAS). I would need it until Tuesday Feb 2nd, drop off at 11 AM. So three days total. I'm looking to get a Chrysler 300 or something similar. I'm not sure if that's considered premium or luxury. Any help you can give me I'd appreciate. i'm not even sure which class that falls under to be honest. But what I would do is book a luxury car or even just a fullsize car and then just ask the guy at the counter which specific cars they have. They'll usually make you a deal. With my discount, you could get a luxury car (towncar/cts) for 395 (w/ taxes included) PM me if you want the code.
