Real Urban BBQ finally opened in Oakbrook last month. I'm too close to burnt ends for my own good now.

Started 'The Wire' on prime this week. I'm usually not one for cop shows, but it's always in the conversation w/ Breaking Bad, Mad Men, etc so I thought I'd give it a shot. What makes it so good?

At least it started in January this year. Last year I felt like the horrible days started in late November and didn't let up until April.

I've been there 3 times over the past 5 years or so. Absolute blast. Be sure to see some of the other stadiums around the area too.

FIFA and GTA V were in heavy rotation during my 2 week holiday break from work. I can't believe how entertaining they made this GTA. The 3 character setup is an amazing edition. Now back to my regularly scheduled 2 hours/week that I can squeeze in.

This is way worse than anyone thought it was going to be.

When they're contending, I get to about 7-10 games/year. When they're not, it's more like 2-3. I just can't reason getting some sort of package and locking myself into dates when I know that I can get a good deal the day before a game if I want to go.

Got to golf this weekend, always a nice treat for December.
