Romy 1-4 with a HR, BB, SB. He is 16 for 20 on SBs. His homerun is #14, only 1 behind Micker. His OPS should be over .850 now. I'm excited as hell about this guy
Do you guys prefer Frazier or Escobar given the choice? Big time power vs average and OBP. Also considering Frazier's BABIP is 60 points above his career normal. Escobar is a proven commodity at this point.
I know this is tongue in cheek, but I'd imagine we see Romy before Yolbert. Romy has been killing it in AA this year. He definitely put himself on the map. 29% strikeout rate is a bit much, but he's hitting for power and getting on base at least.
ReyLo has been decent in his last 3 minor league starts. The Ks have been there. He also looked solid in his one relief outting this year. Maybe he was working on something or figured something out down low. If anything, this is a potential showcase opportunity.
Only way Rodon stays with the team is if he signs an extension during this season. It offers him the stability of being secured for life right damn now. He doesn't have to worry about getting injured or crashing to earth during the rest of the season. If he hits FA, he is as good as gone.
