I had been lobbying for an OFer, but a reliever and 2nd baseman are definitely top priority. It sucks Kincanon is out for the year. I really think his stuff is good enough that he could have made it up this year.
Goodwin has simply been better than Eaton so far. Sheets is making a case. Hamilton is a great pinch runner and defensive replacement. I just don't see how Eaton fits on the team anymore.
I can. If he keeps choosing to be Mr. Tough Guy and play while injured, he will not lead the team in OPS. If he takes some games off to properly heal, I think he could be the leader in OPS.
Sheets is pricing himself out as a piece in an Eduardo Escobar trade. You don't give up 6 years of a guy who looks like a legit ML contributor for a half year of Escobar. It's a good problem to have. Maybe he is part of a bigger trade at this point.
