It's just an extremely easy way to troll. You click one button, and some people get upset by it. Posting about it will just make them do it more. Better off just ignoring it. -
Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)

Can you name all these posters in the majority that want to blow it up right now? Or are you saying you are anti-tank in general, despite the squad Hahn put together via tanking? -

The thing with Heyward... Do we really want to Sox to lock up all that payroll in an attempt to compete in what is likely a lost year? This IS the White Sox. Heyward's contract will definitely hamper the team financially in the future... -

You ain't wrong about his splits last year. I was pleasantly surprised after looking them up. Small sample size, but definitely encouraging. I think the Sox need to wait it out until Engel returns. Don't mortgage the future. This division is nothing special. -

With Engel's defense, isn't that like a 5 WAR player in CF? I think that is overly optimistic. He's not a 300 hitter. -
Tbh, I'm more worried about how deep into games TLR has the pitchers going, especially after a shortened season. No need to ride the starters 110+ pitches.

LOL! This idea cracks me up. It sounds like such a White Sox/Jerry Reinsdorf-type scenario. ________________________________________ Amid a season plagued by controversy and injuries, Tony La Russa has announced that he will be stepping down from his position as manager of the White Sox. In what is speculated to be an effort to limit the team's payroll, White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf stated that the team will not be adding a new manager for the remainder of the year. Instead, previous manager Rick Renteria will be returning as the active manager. "There's a provision in Ricky's contract stating that if he is under salary for the managerial position, and the position is vacant, he must report as the active manager if requested by the team. If he declines, his salary will be forfeited," Reinsdorf explained. "It's a very common provision in the team's contracts." According to the White Sox, Renteria has 5 days to report to the team, or else his salary will be forfeited. Renteria has not yet released a statement regarding the situation.

By "passive stretching" do you mean when you hold a stretch for 30 seconds for example? I believe what I am doing in the limber 11 routine (posted above) is mostly "dynamic stretches", if I'm not mistaken. -

It was actually just one stretch that he recommended, the lunge stretch. Seems to do the job by itself. If you do it correctly you definitely feel it in the hip flexors. I've been doing the whole routine below (minus using the foam roller on my IT band and adductors). this isn't what ptatc recommended FYI, I found it on my own. Might be overkill, but I feel like it has helped with my lower back. I'm not PT though. Just a filthy pleb, so what do I know. https://www.defrancostraining.com/joe-ds-qlimber-11q-flexibility-routine/ -

Ptatc just recently sent me some stretches/advice for loosening up the hip flexors... Not that I expect to strain it from lifting, but this reminds me that I need to be more consistent with those stretches. I never really stretched my hip flexors correctly before, but golly are they tight. Definitely getting better. -
Weren't most people upset or at least indifferent regarding the Eaton signing? He's been pretty underwhelming so far. Don't think there would be much crow to be eaten there.

There's nothing I like more than bumping up an old thread to roast people in hindsight... I'll keep this thread on my radar for sure.

5/2 Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland 1:10 PM

Why not just fine him? Instead he punishes the whole team by playing a massively inferior player? Having Yermin up with the bases loaded today could have completely changed the game. He hit the 485 foot homer off that exact pitcher FYI... Give me a break man. -
@greg775 has us slated for 2-3 championships, guaranteed. I'm still feeling good about it.

Do you have the chops to be manager? I know you're more of a GM type of guy, but the Sox are in dire need of a real manager. -
The funny thing with the whole "keeping starters fresh" narrative is that he hasn't give old man Abreu one day off, and Jose has been struggling mightily. He's just sitting rookies because they are rookies, in favor of shitty bench players he adores.

Tony said that wasn't why Mercedes was benched. He wasn't mad at Mercedes for being late. Tony said it was just a tough decision between using him or Lamb at DH. Lamb got the edge. It was an asinine choice, simple as that. -
