  1. Just got uploaded here. I'm listening to it now. https://www.radio.com/podcasts/hit-run-with-matt-spiegel-59/spiegel-steve-stone-interview-white-sox-season-in-review-hour-1-347196664
  2. Regarding your first point. What do you want the tax rates raised to and how much do you expect it to generate for bailout money? Second point, military spending. Do you honestly expect military spending to be cut? Who is going to do that? Never happens.
  3. Eh... Right handed CFer who is turning 35. Im not convinced he would be any more valuable than Adam Engel going forward. No thanks.
  4. Manager - Ozzie Hitting coach - Big Frank Pitching coach - Mark Buehrle Pitching Coach Emeritus - Steve Stone (stays as color commentator though)
  5. @greg775 and I may be enemies who completely hate each other's guts, but this is one thing we can agree on. Bring back Oz.
  6. You want the feds to wipe your ass for you too?
  7. Go to sleep Bosley. it's clearly past your bedtime.
  8. Billy Martin was a successful manager that got hired then fired multiple times. Give Ozzie another chance
  9. There are already measures in place to limit the risk of covid. 25% capacity, 6 foot distance. When did I ever argue about that?
  10. 1000%. Oz needs to be managing this team next year, without question.
  11. This. I'm scarred and jaded from the White Sox luck with signing old players. I'd rather they put a trade together for a RFer this off-season or midseason. Center it around one of Stiever/Cease/Dunning. Hopefully sign Colas or Cespedes to take over in the future.
  12. He's already using total homeruns and batting average over a small sample size to justify McCann over Grandal. Very original stuff Damn you bandwagon trolls! I didn't see you around when the team was bad!
  13. I hate this idea. Eloy is 23 and will continue to play in the OF. We have a generational type hitter in Andrew Vaughn and we're throwing him away so we can DH a below average outfielder? No chance. Not every outfielder needs to be above average.
  14. There's no such thing as personal responsibility or middle ground anymore. Going for a drive? You're a piece of fucking shit who is endangering the lives of every pedestrian on the sidewalk or street. Serving up alcohol at a restaurant? Awful human being who is destroying livers and creating alcoholics. Mass protests in close quarters with many others? God bless you sir!
  15. You see what happened to Crochet out there? Coop's gotta go
  16. You can drive, and you can drive while having a blood alcohol level up to .08. Driving is a risk to others whether you are responsible or not. It's about limiting the risk involved. Tex and those by him appear to be doing that.
  17. Maybe the owner will be smart and have a firesale prior to spending big bucks. That team needs a rebuild.

    McCann

How much of Vaughn have you seen so far?
  19. Yeah, no way I'm trading Cease for Benintendi.
  20. Bauer signs with the White Sox Soxtalk member Chicago White Sox moves Nashville
  21. Cease obviously had a very rough year, but he has the stuff to be a good started if he could improve his command. He pitched flat out poorly and needs to take some big steps this offseason. Dunning was dynamite at first, but got worse as the season went on. This could easily be attributed to fatigue from his TJ surgery. Are you slotting either into the rotation? If not, do you send them to AAA or put them in the bullpen? I think Dunning showed enough to earn a rotation spot. It may come down to which players looks better in the spring, and if the Sox land any starters.
