  1. This one hurts. I'm not convinced that Abreu would be any better than Yermin this year
  2. To an extent. When you look at the biggest contacts the White Sox have ever given out, it's pretty embarrassing.
  3. He has 4 pitches thst grade out as plus or better? I know he was a decent prospect, but 4 plus pitches makes him sound like a top product.
  4. If even Yoan4Moan didn't find something to complain about regarding a move, it is probably a good one
  5. Ray Ray is eating up that preseason fluff. Next thread of his will be about a Sox player who is in the best shape of his life.
  6. I want Puig for the sake of Steve Stone and CaliSoxFan having to eat crow
  7. @ChiliIrishHammock24 we need more nicknames!
  8. Ricky is a total pushover when it comes to veterans. Wouldn't surprise me if Eloy bats sixth behind the aforementioned veterans

    Food Thread

All things food. Our team plays in a world class city with world class food. Let's discuss. Talk about what you had recently, your favorite joints, the best pizza, etc. From the city to the suburbs. All is fair game. I ate at Chilam Balam in Lakeview a few times recently, and I've been extremely satisfied with the food. It is small plate/tapa style, high end Mexican food. I honestly liked the food more than Cafe Babareeba and Girl & the Goat, which are other similar styled restaurants. The seating and room are pretty poor there, but the food is spot on. I'm a pizza connoisseur. Paninos in Lakeview has incredible deep dish and thin crust. Easily one of the most underrated and best in the city IMO. Used to frequent it by the slice when I lived up there. Had it again recently and it didn't disappoint. Also have been getting Lou's thin crust with sausage and hot giardiniera often. Say what you want about it being a chain, the pizza is outstanding.
  10. Abreu up there with those two is straight laughable. His horrid defense at 1st base, conbined with his declining bat will crater his value
  11. I've mentioned it before, but I wonder how bad it will get this year with HBPs and subsequent brawls when teams play the Astros. Obviously it would feel a little sweet seeing Bregman and company get beamed, but you don't want anybody getting seriously hurt. These guys are going to take a beating this season.
  12. TBH, as much as it pains me to say it, Calisoxfan is a top tier poster and one of the best around.
  13. I thought Puig was going 100 mph. Now it's suddenly 110 mph?
  14. I'll be there this year with a group of buddies. It was an absolute blast last year. One of those vacations where you come back more tired than when you left.
  15. Where in the video did you see this?
  16. Benyamin Bailey will be a future allstar. You can get the house on it.
  17. Let's be real, MLB players are not going to want to live in Mexico City. That isn't going to happen.
  18. I hope the mods look into this further
  19. 100%. Futuresox is the cream of the crop. How does one become a patreon? Edit: nevermind, found it. Will be subscribing today.
  20. Puig's swagger is the exact thing this team needs. This team needs more swagger tbh. His bat flips with Tim's bat flips... Goodness that would be great.
  21. We should at least revoke your moderator privileges and give them to me
