What does JD get in free agency? Aging first basemen haven't been treated kindly in free agency in recent years. I would love to get him. I don't think the contract would be too bad either. Edit: I just checked his contract. I'm not sure that he opts out. Maybe if he gets promises that the contract gets topped.
