  1. Not that this is anything we don't know, but people reacting to Vaughn's struggles as of late are doing so because he absolutely has to mash his brains out to be a viable pick at #3.
  2. Even the White Sox weren't prepared for the attendance
  3. I'm still with you on Gio @Jack Parkman. I think it will take time to be consistent with his new delivery, but I have faith.
  4. Sheloy hasn't proven a damn thing yet
  5. Sosa will be the starting SS by 2021
  6. @Jack Parkman if Gio blows up I want answers!
  7. All the White Sox takes ________ Heard it from a Burdi 12:18 Any updates on Burdi's velocity? Haven't seen much since the AFL. Eric A Longenhagen 12:18 Zack? They shut him down during the spring, have no idea where he's at right now. Dunt 12:21 Can Zack Collins fit into a Carlos Santana type career trajectory or is his defense at C that far behind? Eric A Longenhagen 12:22 He's worse than Santana back there and not nearly as good a 1B glove Kevin 12:25 How many healthy ABs for Luis Robert before he starts to make major moves up THE BOARD? Eric A Longenhagen 12:26 It's more about the bat-to-ball stuff than health. I've seen him plenty to know what the physical tooks are, I'm just not sure how that bat path ends up playing. It's Delmon Youngish. But we'll see. The power is huge, he's great in CF and that's typically enough Bring back DeSpaniel Hair 12:48 Realizing Moncada is not a prospect anymore, he sits at 30/60 hit tool in the database. What does hitting his upside look like at the plate? And is this season the beginning of the breakout? Eric A Longenhagen 12:48 i over-projected the bat. I think he could be a high-end walk rate guy and hit for a ton of power but he'll always be a 40 bat-to-ball guy, I think. Which is fine, should still be really good.
  8. Robert seems to be stealing at will so far. Would be really exciting if his speed manifested into a high stolen base number.
  9. https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/prospects/stats/affiliates
  10. He's the first legit 1st baseman since Paulie* we have had a legit DH in Abreu for a while. For some reason he and Ricky believe he is a 1st baseman. Abreu should not be in the field anymore
  11. Which nickname is it @NorthSideSox72, the little magician or little motor?
  12. THE NICKNAME KING IS BACK!!! NICK "LITTLE MOTOR" MADRIGAL
  13. 2nd highest payroll, yet they are cheap?
  14. The Cubs bullpen is so bad. Lol.
  15. You are awesome Lillian. I can't imagine many women lifted weights back then. Very cool you've stuck with it that long
  16. By "system" I was thinking the minors. I'd say they have similar ceilings, imo
  17. I think that is more tools wise. Alfonso fits that description, the power and speed combo. Nobody is saying he will be as good as Trout.
  18. Really feels like Robert's tools are similar to Mike Trout
  19. I think there is zero doubt Robert has the highest ceiling in the system.
  20. Man, while I would love this, is Robert's hit tool that good? Eloy was filthy with the bat in the minors last year. I'd be surprised if he is as good of a hitter as Eloy.
  21. Nothing wrong with sharing a nickname with a 19th century president
  22. His nickname is The Little Magician
  23. Huhmmm, I wasn't aware that translates to "He will easily be a 5-6 WAR player".
  24. Steverson did not have much to work with last year. This year, we are seeing our team reap the benefits of Steverson. Moncada's approach is better than ever. Abreu is surprisingly off to a good start. The offense looks totally different this year. I think we have finally found the hitting coach of the future. Lock Steverson up.
  25. He's not worth forfeiting a 2nd round draft pick
