  1. Ive been talking a lot of shit on Facebook to cubs fans about how he's the best player in Chicago now. He better keep this up.
  2. Moncada, Davidson, TA are all looking very solid lately. 3rd highest barrel rate % of any team so far. Needless to say, I'm impressed with the work Steverson has done with the young hitters. I stand by my initial post.
  3. Luis Gonzalez needs to be up at A+
  4. Him and Burr both went 2 IP last night. Really digging the relief prospects the sox have.
  5. Tbh I hope Zavala geta a promotion in the near future so him and Collins can get consistent reps behind the plate
  6. That guy looked a lot like Luol Deng
  7. Everybody told you his season wasn't that great last year and that he wouldn't have a good season this year. You insulted and slandered those "statniks" constantly. You owe the entire forum an apology for how rotten you treated everybody over Matt Davidson.
  8. If he is that weak minded of a person, I don't want him on the team when they are competitive. He'll crumble when they are in the playoffs
  9. Lose as long as it takes to stack up the talent. I'd rather have awful years then great years to come instead of a constant treadmill fringe playoff team. Lose, baby, lose. 2020 Will be sweet.
  10. Do you think he will still have the gig by the 2020 season? That is realistically the first season where they will contend for a playoff spot. Will Omar take over by then?
  11. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 11:00 PM) And there’s the jinx. Thank god you didn’t mention Blake, maybe he’ll return to blue chip form now. If this jinx and antijinx talk is true I should probly criticize your posts a bit. Maybe then you'll turn it around and we'll get some quality posts from you
  12. LaRoche was a big dbag and a horrible player for us, so I don't mind the slandering of him.
  13. Clarkin is a lefty starter who has looked really solid so far in his 2 starts. Polo could be a 4th OF. This trade is looking like a big time win.
  14. I'm sorry my friend, but you must have seen the date incorrectly. Today is April 10, not April 1. Abreu is nowhere near HOF calibur. Not even close. Soxtalk overrates Abreu like crazy.
  15. The title of the article even says he is trolling. Not sure how people missed that and thought he was serious lol.
  16. What Todd Steverson has been able to do with our hitters has been extraordinary. Hitters are finally flourishing, including those who weren't surefire prospects. Matt Davidson looks like a whole different guy. Adam Engel appears to not be a completely atrocious hitter anymore. Tim Anderson has developed nicely. Avi has become a stud. It is time to give this guy a little credit. I'm not trying to give him all the credit for these players improving, but the adjustments he is having the hitters make seem to be paying off. Is it time to lock him up for the near future?
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 1, 2018 -> 10:52 PM) I'm not sure what I want. I'm just surprised a guy bangs three homers and there's little more than a yawn. What if he woulda hit four? Would he have gotten some unrequited love on here or still a lot of ... he can't keep it up. He's at best a 100 game a year guy on our next WS contending team? If his value gets high enough I hope they trade him for prospects
  18. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 1, 2018 -> 10:42 PM) The only way I could see a problem would be if a team specifically hired a family member within 1 year's time of a college draft...for that very reason (not unlike bringing a family member onto a college basketball coaching staff to ensure a recruit's commitment). Thomas has been with the White Sox for at least two decades, right? Truth. White Sox used this same trick to dupe teams into not drafting Kenny William's son. They swooped in like bandits and stole him in the later rounds.
  19. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Apr 1, 2018 -> 07:33 PM) The White Sox would be in very serious hot water if they did that given the duplicitous nature of it. Is it against the rules for a prospect to tell teams he has no intention of signing with them if drafted, with the exception of one team? Say the kid thinks college is the better route, with the exception of getting drafted and signed by the white sox. I see no issue with this.
  20. It's ok to admit you were wrong DA. You dont need to argue your opinion to the death.
  21. Hmmm that would explain Jose's weight loss and resurgence last year. Maybe he's been juicing.
  22. The Sox would be nuts to give yolmer the job over yoan. Yoan has one of the highest ceilings in the entire majors. He proved himself last season. The dude is the future of the sox. Don't see any issue with this.
  23. Greg doesn't want the sox to win a world series. Hed rather the sox go back to the 2005-2016 approach where Kenny sells off all the prospects and fields fringe playoff teams with "entertaining" bozos like Ozzie Guillen amusing him.
  24. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 1, 2018 -> 09:45 AM) I want to see a birth certificate before he steps on the mound in a Sox jersey! I know some people over in philadelphia who are studying his birth certificate, and they cannot believe what they are finding. The guy simply has to show his birth certificate.
