  1. QUOTE (WKamm @ Aug 5, 2014 -> 06:42 PM) I don't care how well he's hitting. I will never like Tyler Flowers. You and greg will be good friends
  2. When does Kevan Smith get moved up? he must suck behind the plate still.
  3. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 09:49 AM) I loved the Spencer Adams pick at the time and I love it still. Any chance he will get promoted to Great Falls soon? I'd like to see him in A+
  4. QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Aug 1, 2014 -> 07:02 PM) Sox trade: Beckham Cubs trade: Bag of balls Giants trade: Bag of dicks Sox get: Bag of balls Giants get: Beckham Cubs get: Bag of dicks Deal fell through because the Giants ultimately didn't feel that Beckham was worth the bag of dicks. Poor Cubs, poorer us. Bags of dicks are of high value at Wrigley Field concession stands
  5. QUOTE (Andy the Clown @ Aug 1, 2014 -> 06:05 PM) You shouldn't have to resort to a convoluted three-way to give away Danks, Beckham, and/or Dunn. Yeah, you just need to find a GM who has been hitting the bottle particularly hard
  6. Hahn must have leaked this in response to the open letter directed at him in the trade winds forums.
  7. i hope Avi also worked on getting in shape. He is one hell of an athlete, but he seemed to have some fat on him.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 1, 2014 -> 03:40 PM) I'd rather have Kevin McCallister. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...t&p=3028586 LOL cmon steve
  9. 1b: Abreu 2b: Semien SS: Sanchez 3b: Gillaspie C: Smith CF: Eaton RF: Avi LF: Ravelo DH: Wilkins SP: Sale Quintana Beck Rodon Danish
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 31, 2014 -> 09:43 PM) I truly don't think teams care about Dunn's stats and perceived value. They think about the reality of having Adam Dunn around and the idea of that does not sit well with them. If you were a contender would you want to risk Dunn going in a 1-for-30 with 20 strikeouts? A GM can't take that risk; he'd be run out of his town by irate fans. Lmao does anybody take you seriously around here? So GMs should ignore stats and make decisions based on emotion pretty much?
  11. horrible start for Trayce, but post allstar break he is hitting .275/.366/.500 in 36 games. Striking out at a 26% clip during that span, which is a big improvement compared to how he was doing.
  12. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 30, 2014 -> 03:24 PM) The White Sox could use a gaping hole at SS. did marcus semien get shot?
  13. This is how I see it playing out. Reinsdorf went wild on Abreu. He is seeing how great of an investment that was. The White Sox have a lot of flexibility next year. If they can shed Danks or Dunn while eating some of their salaries, I can see Reinsdorf giving the green light for a big contract offer.
  14. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseba...ghtheaded-spell Everything is okay thankfully. Doctors recommended that he not watch as many 2014 White Sox games
  15. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Jul 25, 2014 -> 10:04 PM) One lucky week. It doesn't count. perfect
  16. This dude has seemingly becme on of the sox best hitting prospects. Guy is an on base machine. How do you think he'll do in the majors? Is it time for AAA for him?
  17. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%A9_Abreu_%28baseball%29 Is it official? i hate this nickname. I don't even understand how hawk came up with this one.
  18. is it safe to assume alexei would net a player similar to what jeff samardzija got the cubs? i think the time to deal alexei is NOW.
  19. Ravelo used to be a 3b, and now he switched to first. I doubt he can be much worse than Viciedo in the OF. I wonder why the sox haven't tried him there to maximize his bat.
  20. I've heard Ravelo called decently athletic. Could he not handle the corner OF?
  21. QUOTE (Hawkfan @ Jul 3, 2014 -> 04:53 PM) I love it when a terrible thread becomes great Agreed. At first I was in favor of plan B'ing this thread before it got too big, but now I say let it live on!
