There seems to be a divide in opinions on whether Kimbrel will be tradable. I agree with you, and don't see why any team would want him given how horrible he was. Insiders like Harold and y2jimmy seem to think he is a tradable asset. I just don't get it. He had a good k/bb ratio, sure, but he was just awful. His past 2 seasons weren't great either.

Eloy hits righties as well as lefties. Vaughn has ridiculous upside with the bat. Abreu isn't going anywhere, even if his production falls off a cliff. Sheets is the odd man out. Most teams would be happy to have those 3 in a lineup. Saying they won't succeed is ridiculous.

Not accepting it doesn't mean he isn't healthy. They might just not trust him to stay healthy.

The Sox need to roll the dice on Conforto. He was a 4 WAR player from 2017-2020. He reverts back to form and the Sox have the RFer they need. Eat some of Kimbrel's salary and trade him off (apparently other teams want him?).

I nearly because a Cubs fan due to their failures in free agency, and nearly did it against when they signed TLR as manager. I didn't see ANYBODY else considering this when TLR was hired.
