Velocity doesn't mean everything. Spin rate, arm slot, mixing pitches. -

Boyd has been great this year. Just certain guys that players can't see the ball out of. Boyd is one of those for Moncada and Abreu it looks like. -

This was literally Lucas Giolito last year -

Damn, I am excited about the Hawks right now. This off season has been great. Trade out Anisomov and maybe another piece on D and regain that cap space. -

Hawks sign Ryan Carpenter to a 3 year 1 AAV. Great deal. He's a better Kruger. -

I got tickets. It's 100% a hail Mary from Vince to get better ratings, but I am all in for this. -
two of three just signed. Dalquist will sign too. Relax dude
-
I better not see that f*** stick ever pitch for the Sox again.

Giolito Kopech Cease Lopez FA starter then Rodon once he's healthy Lopez will 100% get another chance at starting next year. Half this board wanted to get rid of Giolito last season, and he was worse than Lopez is this year. -
Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him

I'm all in on Kolby Allard, Joey Wentz, and Kyle Muller. 2 of those 3 for Colome and I'm good. -

Hawks acquire Olli Maata from the Pens for Kahun and a 5th. Maata signed for three more years at just over 4 mil AAV. -
I need above .500. Give it to me, Sox and bury the Yankees.

There's a huge difference between Lucas Giolito and Aaron Bummer -
100% agree. Lopez was pretty decent last year and right now, he's like Giolito of last year with the lack of command and not finishing hitters with two strikes. You keep running him out every 5th day and hope he can make these adjustments.
-
I'm friends with his brother. Want the Sox to draft him so bad. Gold glove caliber at 2B and a good left handed bat
-
And that's a 4th White Sox winner in a ROW!

Get to .500. Call up some kids, trade for Stroman, and let's make some noise boys. It's heading into June, and we are 2 games back of the Wild Card. At least its still fun. -
Really? 1 year? If Witt or Adley is available at 3 with Abrams. I guarantee the Sox are taking Witt/Adley.
-
Who doesn't look like they know what they're doing? Those guys you are watching will probably not be part of the future. Anderson, Eloy, Moncada, Giolito, Abreu (IMO), Lopez know what they are doing.
-
This is just 100% wrong. Sox have Abreu, Collins, Burger, Eloy, Sheets that all can be at 1B in the short future. Abrams plays a premier position and is a great athlete that he can move to CF if he doesn't pan out at SS. I think the only college guy that they'll truly consider at 3 is Adley if he somehow falls.
-
Give me Abrams and another prep talent in round 2 with the savings. Unless Adley falls, then I would sprint to the podium to select him.
-
No, none of those guys are, but those guys probably cost the Sox 2 million combine. Don't even mention Jay because outside of injury, Jay is a better baseball player than Avi all around. What about 2014, 2015, or 2016 for Avi? Lol come on man. In 5 full years he had an OPS above 700 three times, two of them were 718 and 719, combine that with terrible defense, we have a below average player.
-
You are 100% right. Avi was not coming back no matter what. He's had one good month. It was going to take a lot more money for the Sox than what he signed for with the Rays. He signed that for a reason, not many teams wanted him. There was hardly any interest when he had that career year 2 years ago. Enough of the f***ing whining people. Avi was never part of the future.

AEW just signed a deal with TNT and their first show will be October 1st. That is HUGE for AEW.
