  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 09:33 PM) Jesus Christ. Tweets about her "bleeding profusely", fans cleaning blood off the seats after she was removed on stretcher. Like the worst possible thin you can imagine in baseball ever. Bat shards from Brett Lawrie. Yeah this is crazy. Hope she is ok. I watched the video of them taking her off the field, it looked like they were tending to the head area and not neck. If it were life threatening, had to be near the temple?
  2. Roll over to SS on a pitch right down the middle. Atta boy
  3. QUOTE (StRoostifer @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 08:32 PM) Danish 6IP 2H 1R 1ER 3BB 6K Glad to see him get back on track.
  4. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 04:02 PM) Any college baseball fans have a list or some names of college seniors with some upside? Even though it's from February, it gives you an idea. http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/201...rospects-class/
  5. Missouri State vs Arkansas now on ESPN2. I believe Harris is pitching.
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 2, 2015 -> 11:52 AM) Owens is doing an open nxt challenge on Smackdown this week. Joe to main roster? Zack Ryder, yet again. I honestly thought we were gonna see Finn Bailor. He is the #1 contender, correct?
  7. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150605 Charlotte- Johnson Birmingham- Danish Winston Salem- Heidenreich & Clark Kannapolis- Lowry
  8. Where the **** is Alexei playing? Basically playing on 2nd base.
  9. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 07:17 PM) On the other hand, as badly as they've played recently, they're still only trailing the two leaders in the NL Wildcard race by 1 game. And they do have the expendable pieces (and money) to go out and make significant moves at the deadline. You can say the same about the Sox lol. Only 2.5 games out.
  10. Looks like Illinois is in the lead for Bradley transfer Josh Cunningham
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 10:32 AM) For their first pick? I've heard nothing to suggest they'll have to go cheap with the 8th pick. No for rounds 4-10 he's saying will be the college seniors.
  12. To the Mariners: Mark Trumbo and Vidal Nuno To the DBacks: Wellington Castillo, Dominic Leone, Gabby Guerrero and another prospect.
  13. That Birmingham line up is abysmal without May, Anderson and Hawkins.
  14. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150603 Charlotte- Beck Birmingham- Bucciferro Kannapolis- Peralta WS is off today.
  15. Apparently the Sox are hosting a pre draft workout at US Cellular Field. Jim Callis ‏@jimcallisMLB 19m19 minutes ago Had I known the @WhiteSox were staging a predraft workout this morning, I would have headed to U.S. Cellular Field even earlier! Oh well.
  16. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jun 2, 2015 -> 10:41 PM) Junior Guerra to the bullpen? Send him put and let him start. Send Rodon down to learn the changeup. What? After his last start? Call up a journey man for the future ace-2 of this staff. No thanks. A lot of you are biting into this Guerra hype, just like a lot of you were biting on Wilkins' hype last year.
  17. When does RV get fired? And I can see us really only trading Alexei and Soto (someone will want a back up catcher)
  18. I'm really getting sick and tired of Shark and Sale throwing 89-91 in the first inning and getting shelled.
  19. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 2, 2015 -> 01:54 PM) Well with Fry getting hurt and at this time, the extent of the injury is unknown. I have been thinking and I was waiting until sunday nite to post this, while waiting to see how everyone else is commenting on their picks. Pitchers, well this is an unknown quality of draft and as it stands I can really be excited about Fulmer. However without him being there, I can be really entice by drafting a positional player. There are 3 that I really happy about, 1. DJ Stewart, 2. Donnie Dewees and my favorite is 3. David Thompson. As a freshman Thompson made a name for himself in D1 baseball, then he got hurt and missed mostly all of his sophmore season. Then last summer he return to the spot lite with his performance in the Cape Cod league, which at that time I started to follow him. In his junior yr, all he did was was tied in the nation as the most hrs in a college this season, Donnie Dewees is #2. the team needs some help at cat, 3b for starters. the under slot can save some money for later players in later rounds. however, i will look at, if fulmer not being there, i would look at 3 prep pitchers, Justin Hooper, Ashe Russell, or Donny Everett. the reason why, the sox does have a little room to develop a prep pitcher. pretty much with what they are doing with Fry. Remember Fry missed a good solid yr with a previous TJ surgery. Sox aren't going positional player, I can almost put a guarantee on that with what has come out. However, they'll probably grab some HS players in the later rounds.
  20. Wendelken has been tremendous out of the pen for the Barons. Striking out over a hitter an inning.
  21. 5 years/25 million. Hoiberg to the Bulls now official.
  22. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 1, 2015 -> 07:56 PM) So who is pumped for a Big Show-Ryback feud?!?!?!? That was so dumb. It was nice not having him around lately.
  23. Guerrero has given up 2 runs in the first 2 innings. However, he struck out Moncada
  24. Cool to see Guerrero will get to face Yoan Moncada tonight.
