Oh my lanta
-
This team loves giving up runs in the first couple innings. It's astonishing.

Thompson 1-1 Coats with a 2R HR.

I have been on the Fulmer train the entire season, even before he shot up draft boards. With Fulmer or Jay, I don't think the Sox can go wrong with either. I just hope one of them falls to the Sox.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 22, 2015 -> 01:26 PM) One of the local photogs said it's Guerrero, so probably him. Yeah, I saw you RT that guy lol.

The case for drafting Aiken or Matuella

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 22, 2015 -> 08:11 AM) Supposedly Coop loved Aiken last year, but that could have been a lot of misdirection. Picking 8th without a pick for a while after that, you would really have to be sure either of these guys will be fine in the long run. Of course the guy you draft might have the same thing happen a week after he signs. If the Sox were drafting lower, I think taking one of these guys would be a no brainer, but right now there seems to be a good shot at a quality healthy player. I hope they get Fulmer myself. Dick, I agree with you completely. Fulmer and Jay all day for me. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 22, 2015 -> 12:19 PM) I am 100% on board for taking Aiken. If we picked lower in round 1 I would, but not at 8. -
QUOTE (DirtySox @ May 22, 2015 -> 11:50 AM) Manuel's Mock 3.0 has Jay going number 1 to Arizona. White Sox taking Fulmer. http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/mlb-m...15-version-3-0/ I'd be thrilled with Fulmer. To me, Fulmer reminds me of Lincecum with more fire on the mound. I love the way Fulmer competes and shows his emotion after a big out.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 22, 2015 -> 01:28 AM) I don't understand what Nordstrom brings to the table. He isn't a fast skater, he isn't physical, and doesn't do anything particularly well, at all. I can almost understand Versteeg, but I still think Teuvo is the better option. Management isn't looking solid right now. You blew a 1st on Vermette who has been a scratch multiple times this season and in the playoffs, and Timmonen legit can't skate anymore. I've liked what Desjardins has brought to the table, but he's a 4th line role player. Not good. You really can't blame management because if they didn't do anything, they would be getting the same beef right now. The moves just haven't really worked out. I loved the Vermette move because he's solid at the dot and defensively, but I hated the Timmonen move. I would of much rather went after Jeff Petry -
Almonte and Leyer with great starts as well tonight. Hawkins with a 3R blast to tie it in the 9th. Wendelken and Hansen could be good pieces in the pen soon. Both pitching great this season.

QUOTE (oldsox @ May 21, 2015 -> 08:10 PM) Get a hitter. No hitter is good enough for #8.

I'm not either.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 21, 2015 -> 12:48 PM) Law says the Sox are highest on Fulmer and Jay, and both could pitch out of the pen THIS fall for the Sox (seems like a trend). Says he has heard that if Fulmer is still around, the Sox will not pass on him. Fulmer and Jay are my top 2 choices right now.
-
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 21, 2015 -> 11:58 AM) He's among the guys we will profile in the coming weeks. Judging by his numbers alone, looks pretty good but does have 11 wild pitches. Tall lengthy right hander (6-4, 180)

QUOTE (fathom @ May 21, 2015 -> 11:26 AM) Jim Callis has the Sox taking Jon Harris from Missouri St. He has Jay going to Rockies at #3 Keith Law has a mock out, but I can't access it Never heard of this Harris kid, what's the scouting report on him?

Jesse Sanchez @JesseSanchezMLB · 10h 10 hours ago Add White Sox to list of teams with serious interest in Eddy J. Martinez. They've followed him since 2011 & closely the last 3 months. #Cuba

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 20, 2015 -> 09:31 PM) Him and Williams we're talking s*** to the ump before that about the first strike call. That was just the final straw for the umpire Doesn't matter, Harper still shouldn't of gotten thrown out in the 3rd inning because he didn't get in the box quick enough.
-
Bryce Harper got thrown out for not getting in the box quick enough after he didn't like a strike call. Wow. Talk about a total ump show

Why in the world would Flowers call a high fastball?
-
Flowers is a moron.

On the DL right now, don't know what the injury is though.

Sonny Gray. A rotation of Sale, Samardzija, Quintana, Gray and Rodon with Danks as the long man would have me giddy. I'd trade Danish, Montas, Hawkins and Micah or Sanchez for him.
