  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 31, 2017 -> 05:54 PM) I just don't see a whole of big things happening this winter. The two guys who we might trade don't have any real trade value as of now in Abreu and Avi. We also aren't going out and signing anyone of note this winter. It is going to be a long and quiet winter. I think we can sign some good pen guys like McGee and Shaw because they would still be here when we are good and all it will cost is money.
  2. QUOTE (Butter Parque @ Oct 31, 2017 -> 05:29 PM) You're not getting Realmuto for that. You're right, but I think Dunning could be a good starting piece. QUOTE (coco1997 @ Oct 31, 2017 -> 05:35 PM) I wouldn't trade those guys for two catchers when Narvaez is fairly serviceable and Collins is almost ready. I think a veteran presence and one with better defensive numbers can be better. Narvaez hits and has a good eye, but he doesn't hit for any power and we know everyone complains about his framing. QUOTE (ChiSoxJon @ Oct 31, 2017 -> 05:42 PM) Disgusted What would you do?

  4. Go Browns. If they beat the Vikings and Packers lose with a Bears win, Bears would be 1 game back lol
  5. QUOTE (Da_Goob @ Oct 24, 2017 -> 10:08 AM) It isn’t, but I’m thinking the illini get both unless something changes during the in-homes. i think this too. I think Underwood will have a clear plan on how to treat this matter for both families.
  6. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 09:48 PM) Not sure if you are a scout insider but yea, there's beef still. Piper and Snow have been feeding info all day. What is the beef about? This is so childish. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 09:50 PM) Quite frankly, the staff would get killed if they lose Ayo in one week. They cannot afford the PR hit, they can't comment on it and Ayo can, they would lose. I swear this only happens to Illinois. QUOTE (Da_Goob @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 09:59 PM) Just 4 days ago he talked about building a legacy at Illinois. How he values loyalty. If he leaves it definitely doesn't look good. Luckily, I've read that even if he does leave the Irvins still really like the staff. Apparently the Irvins want the kids to play together, Ayo and THT don't mind, but it's Ayo's parents for some reason that have the biggest issue. This is unreal. If Ayo and THT are fine playing together, isn't that all that should matter? If the parents are the issue then have them sit in different sections or something. Ayo's credibility will take a big hit if this were to happen.
  7. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 05:44 PM) Ugh, I HATE CPL recruiting. It's such a big thing for Illinois but the drama and craziness that comes with it is exhausting. THT announcing Thursday, at this point Illinois has to choose between him and Ayo (how awful would that look to lose him) or hope Jesus comes down and makes everything ok. I've heard the rumored beef, but Irvin did say that they have no beef with each other and THT did follow Ayo on twitter if that means anything lol.
  8. Ron, is there anything you like in the WWE right now? On TLC, thought Balor/Styles match was the match by far. Main event was good at the beginning and end. Middle of it kind of stagnant. I did pop when Angle came out to his music, would of loved if he had his gear on though. Overall, I thought the PPV was average.
  9. So happy for Underwood and Ayo. Wonder what dominos fall now with him committing. THT is visiting this weekend, he would be a huge get to pair with Ayo.
  10. Patrick Beverley absolutely trolled Lonzo Ball last night. Ball was awful
  11. Spurs tied Real Madrid on the road. Outside of early season draws in the EPL, they look like a top team in the world.
  12. Lake Park (5-3) is eligible for the playoffs for the first time since 2009! I graduated in 2010 and if they beat Naperville Central next week, they earn a tie of the conference championship
  13. Sox didn't really mess this up. Their young players are good and we are better than those other teams currently ahead of us in the draft pick race. It is nice to see our young players playing well heading into next season.
  14. Tag match was fantastic, but of course it had Cesaro in it. He's great in the ring. Alexa Bliss remains the best woman in the division
  15. Rodon, Giolito, Lopez, Shields, and I think they can be a major player for Chris Tillman.
  16. Jace Fry is getting called up today per his agency
  17. So Lake Park now has beaten Waubonsie Valley and Wheaton Warrenville South and is 2-0 in a always tough DVC. Could they be for real?
  18. The Cena/Reigns promo was absolute gold. Almost think they went off script. Alexa Bliss remains to be the best woman talent of the RAW roster.
  19. Apparently my alma mater Lake Park beat the #4 team in the state Waubonsie Valley on the road last night 35-33
  20. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Aug 17, 2017 -> 03:10 PM) Even the walks have stopped. He's one for his last twenty with 10 strike outs and no walks. He's not struggling, he's drowning. Anyone still convinced he'll climb out of this is deluded. You don't have to take the exact opposite point either, but now it's time to seriously consider that Moncada is a complete and total bust. It has gotten so bad that the Buxton comparisons are starting to look generous. I hope he turns it around, but watching him play leaves almost zero room for encouragement. This is why people think you troll and don't take you serious. This post is beyond idiotic.
  21. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Aug 16, 2017 -> 07:31 AM) Not getting Boston's best prospect for Sale is going to sting for a while. Did you say that when we first traded for Moncada? It's 20 games, what if Devers pulls a Schwarber next year? Not surprised by an overreaction from you.
