He was just designated for assignment by the Indians. Had a pretty good year last year but has struggled this year. Sox do have an open spot on their 40 man roster now. I would definitely put in a claim on this kid. Not to mention, he is from Illinois. Sorry its McAllister.

I cannot wait to see these guys back in Sox uniforms. Avi in terms of development and just the fact to see another part of the young core Sox are building playing. And Lindstrom bringing the veteran presence in the bullpen. I really think he gets resigned in the off season.
