  1. QUOTE (Tony @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 01:59 PM) If he's asking for 4.5, he might not be able to fetch a 1st. Either way, you'll get assets for him, which I'm fine with. Maybe a 2nd and a 5th?
  2. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 01:41 PM) Mark LazerusVerified account ‏@MarkLazerus Source says Andrew Shaw is asking for at least $4.5 million AAV. Moving him might be more realistic than moving Kruger. FLA a possibility. Mutt's a goner. Came here to post this & I agree. Trade him for a late 1st.
  3. Hawks don't have any scheduled picks tonight. However, they could net a late 1st in my opinion if they trade Shaw. With that said, who do you guys think the Hawks trade? Do they make a big move (Anisomov, Seabrook for example)?
  4. Wizards are prepared to give Noah a max deal of 4 years/120 million. Wow, that is gross. Makes the Robin Lopez deal look like a complete steal if Noah gets this.
  5. QUOTE (Dam8610 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 09:46 AM) It's nice when statistics confirm that a trend you notice isn't just in your head. Anyone think the Sox could put a package together for Lucroy? I know it would have to include Fulmer, but even with him, do the Sox have the pieces to make it work? I think Derek Norris would help too. Decent hitter and really good at pitch framing.
  6. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 02:33 AM) Over his last 28 days.... 32 IP, 25 H, 2.81 ERA, 7 BB, 41 K, 1.00 WHIP Yeah, he's been solid. Just isn't getting wins. Plus, he gets deeper in to games than Maeda. Maeda has only reached the 7 inning mark ONCE this year, and not a single out more. Only 4 of his 14 starts has he thrown 100+ pitches. He's averaging probably 88-90 pitches per outing. 7 of DeGrom's last 8 starts he has pitched 100+, reaching 110 at one point. Not saying it's a slam dunk, but I just feel a little better about the more established pitcher versus the rookie. Ok, I didn't know that. Thank you for providing that. Overall, seems like a win-win for both squads with you having a bit of an edge.
  7. QUOTE (Wanne @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) lol...geezus christ. The Suns throw more s*** against the wall with PGs every year hoping something sticks...and in the meantime trade the best one they had in Dragic. They have Bledsoe...sign Isaiah Thomas when they have Brandon Knight...and trade Dragic...not to mention Marshall from NC they drafted. Then draft Ennis...Harrison...and now Ulis. This is one f***ed up franchise...and l live here. Eric Bledsoe is a stud if he can stay healthy.
  8. The Bulls totally screwed themselves tonight. Fantastic.
  9. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 07:54 PM) Oladipo, Ilyasova and Sabonis going to the Thunder. I was going to rip them, but that's a haul. Great trade for the Thunder. They get the much needed depth and upside in Sabonis and Oladipo. Sounds like Butler trade gonna happen....
  10. Crowder, Smart, #3, and Brooklyn's pick next year for Butler and I'll drive Jimmy to the airport.
  11. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojVerticalNBA 1m1 minute ago Sources: Boston is engaged with the Bulls and Sixers as Celtics inch closer to going on the clock at No. 3, league sources said. K.C. Johnson ‏@KCJHoop 37s37 seconds ago Bulls have held advanced discussions w/ Celtics centered on Jimmy Butler and No. 3 pick. Bulls love Kris Dunn. But Bulls don't love Cs offer
  12. That tweet was hours ago though lol. Things can change.
  13. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 05:06 PM) Bullpen wasn't great but our offense is still the overarching problem. Too many guys who can't handle the bat well enough to execute when situations call for a specific type of at bat. I like Anderson at the top of the order but he's the guy the opponents are dying to see in a situation when you need a strikeout. Yes, they didn't do well in the clutch situations, but when you score 7 runs in a game, you should win that game.
  14. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 05:06 PM) Jeff GoodmanVerified account ‏@GoodmanESPN Danny Ainge just walked into the Garden with a huge smile. He looked confident -- and should based on his track record of draft night deals. Crowder, Smart, and the #3 and I'll be happy.
  15. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 02:34 PM) Got offered Jacob DeGrom for Kenta Maeda and I accepted it. The difference in pts per game is 15.1 versus 14.7 or something, despite Maeda having 3 more wins. I am banking on DeGrom getting some run support and getting more wins, plus, Maeda is a rookie so maybe the 2nd or 3rd time a team sees him, the more he will get hit. Additionally, DeGrom has 9 of 12 starts being QS. It's 8 of 14 for Maeda. Only thing that worried me was the health issues DeGrom had early in the year, but he has a longer history of success over Maeda, so I went with it. Has DeGrom improved lately? I know he struggled with his velocity at the beginning of the year. Maeda has been pretty solid all year.
  16. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 03:11 PM) This team is fools gold Then don't say anything rather than spewing the same thing every post.
  17. Rumors that Lakers are dangling the #2 pick to the Bulls for Butler. Also, Frank Isola tweeting that the Magic are going after Butler too.
  18. Porcello says my bad to Abreu. Ross yesterday after he got out of the inning, I read his lips and he said my bad Fraz
  19. Players that could be traded today: Tony Snell, Mike Dunleavy Jr, and Taj Gibson.
  20. Well, today could be very interesting for the Hawks. Kruger and/or Shaw could be on their way out.
  21. If Sox win while Shields throws a QS, you all owe me lunch. Let's sweep these guys!
