  1. Hit the nail right on the head, fathom. Keep stacking the roster and worry about the rest later. When we had Sale, Q, Eaton, we had superstars, but never the depth. Right now, we have superstars in the making with so much more depth. Let's keep adding and diminish the depth. Plus, I hate trading for relievers and that's what we really need outside of a platoon partner with Mazara.
  2. I would give Castellanos Keuchel's contract. You can never have enough good players.
  3. Couldn't have said it better. Sox struggled hitting HRs last year. EE helps that, along with Collins against righties. There is no risk here. Collins will still get his ABs.
  4. Happ sucks. Would rather have Price
  5. What would you guys trade for just David Price and cash?
  6. Trade for David Price (him only) with Boston eating 10 million per season Sign Edwin Encarnacion Sign Caesar Hernandez Sign Kevin Pillar Sign Alex Wood Vs. Righties Vs. Lefties CF Robert CF Robert 3B Moncada 3B Moncada 1B Abreu 1B Abreu C Grandal DH Encarnacion LF Eloy LF Eloy RF Mazara C Grandal C Collins RF Pillar 2B Hernandez 2B Hernandez SS Anderson SS Anderson Bench of Garcia, McCann, Encarnacion/Collins, Mazara/Pillar Mendick (Then Hernandez when Madrigal comes up) Rotation: 1. Giolito 2. Price 3. Cease 4. Lopez 5. Wood With Rodon, Dunning, and Kopech coming back. This team can win you a division. Thoughts? What are your ideas?
  7. Best post in this thread. Bennett and his boys riling up SoxTalk with a moronic idea because they have nothing else to do.
  8. Again, it's December 13th. Trade for David Price and then sign a 1 year guy. Not that hard. Let's see if they can make it happen.
  9. It's fucking December 13th. My god, some of you people are miserable.
  10. I do too. Basically called out the forwards for not hustling back on offense or in the wrong spots creating odd man rushes. Hawks don't deserve Kane or Lehner.
  11. Outside of injury, Price still has been very good. 135, 123, and 113 ERA+ and very respectable FIPs in the AL. I wouldn't mind him at all especially when Kuechel and Ryu might make 18-20 million per year. If we can get Price and 20-25 million per year, sign me up. I think if the Sox do trade for him, it will be just for him. If they add a kicker like Benintendi, I think Sox might have to part with a decent prospect, but not like Vaughn or Madrigal even though they'll probably ask for them.
  12. Agree with this and in all honestly, Illinois should be 9-1
  13. Lol. What's good about an 811 OPS in high A? Laz Rivera did that. Should we have him up this season too? Some of you are freaking out and it's comical. This is a good upgrade. Better than the shit we've put out the last two years.
  14. I'd 100% give up Walker for Mazara. We know Mazara can mash against righties at the ML level. We don't know what Walker is and they are very similar in age.
  15. Guys, Mazara had an OPS of 848 against righties. He mashes them. As long as the return is ok, I'm good with this. If it's Steele Walker, see ya bro.
  16. 36, but has been very good the last few years.
  17. I highly doubt its Blake Snell, but I do know (heard from other people) that the Rays love Steiver.
  18. Brian Bilek @BrianBilek_ My Winter Meetings prediction: #WhiteSox put together a trade package for a coveted starting pitcher. Brian Bilek @BrianBilek_ · 19m Not able to speak to any specific targets but the quality of players the Sox have on the table speaks to the potential return
  19. Not saying I would like it, but the interest (if true) does make sense. The new hitting coach for the Sox was Ozuna's coach in Miami where he had his career year.
  20. What I'm thinking, Keuchel on a 3 year deal. Another veteran arm on a one year deal like Wood, Miley, Smyly. Then sign Castellanos to a multi year deal. Then we are cooking boys.
  21. Sign Zack Wheeler 5 years/105 million (21 million AAV) Sign Dallas Kuechel 3 years/45 million (15 million AAV) Sign Kole Calhoun 1 year/8 million (8 million AAV) If non tendered, sign Steven Souza 1 year/3 million (3 million AAV) *These two would platoon Sign Daniel Hudson 2 years/18 million (9 million AAV) This would put the payroll between 135-140 million I have no clue on trades, but I could see a trade for a SP instead of signing Kuechel.
  22. I'd trade Bundy for Rutherford straight up, but I don't think they need to do that. I'd go after both Bundy and Mancini though. That would be electric.
