  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 5, 2016 -> 12:45 PM) Joc? Ethier?
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 5, 2016 -> 12:42 PM) I have always liked Frazier, and so far he is saying all the right things http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/frazier...with-white-sox/ I've always loved Frazier. Hopefully he has a good season and can stay here for years to come.
  3. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 5, 2016 -> 12:37 PM) Yes that was my tweet. Nightengale was on and pretty confident that they'll be adding an OF. Said he thinks they have "another move up their sleeve". The hosts asked about CarGo and Bruce. Bob said Baltimore is the only team he's heard interested in Bruce. He also doesn't think it'll be Cargo to Sox either. Puig
  4. Word is that the leak got out rather quick and the plan was to tell the players first. Social Media now a days....
  5. QUOTE (scs787 @ Mar 4, 2016 -> 01:09 PM) Yep, IMO the biggest problem the Bears had was coverage in intermediate middle of the field. Adding Trevathan helps that immensely. Yeah, I definitely agree. Trevathan and another lower tier LB or draft a LB could do wonders for this defense.
  6. Tottenham give up a goal when Arsenal was down to 10 men. Could of been on top of the table. Unreal.
  7. QUOTE (Boogua @ Mar 5, 2016 -> 10:45 AM) Whitman confirms that Groce will be back next year. He better get a commitment from Tilmon. And Goowin
  8. I'd give up James Dykstra for Jay Bruce.
  9. Franco Sports. ‏@Franco_Sports ESPN's @DickersonESPN, calls Danny Trevathan the one FA the #Bears must sign. Stated, "instant upgrade at a position of need." I agree.
  10. Marty Bennett with a critic tweet. Tweets a smiley face.
  11. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Mar 4, 2016 -> 10:21 AM) More than Taj Gibson? Pau complains more than Taj.
  12. Darling certainly has taken a step back this season
  13. Brian Bilek ‏@BrianBilek_ 53m53 minutes ago OF Kyle Lewis from Mercer is a guy to watch for the #WhiteSox at #10. Brian Bilek ‏@BrianBilek_ 52m52 minutes ago Small school guy who dominated the Cape Cod League & off to a hot start. If I compared him to Justin Upton I'm sure I wouldn't be the first.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 2, 2016 -> 09:10 AM) Got it. That's insane and hard. It's a complex league, but it's really fun.
  15. The Bulls might be the most disappointing team in the NBA.
  16. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 01:59 PM) And those starters are probably why you finished 3rd instead of first (and the Stanton injury). If you're starting from scratch, you should spend at least 2/3 of your budget on offense. You're not though. You already have a great offense with no glaring holes.You can easily splurge on whomever the best available pitcher is and then focus on lottery tickets. Even if you don't keep that guy long-term it makes sense. I was in 9th all year until the 2nd half of the year. I had Harvey and Kluber the 1st half until I traded them. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 02:14 PM) I don't understand how your keepers is an entire roster but you still say there will be top 20 pitching talent. It's an auction league and sign them to contracts. Read my leagues rules on the last page.
  17. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 01:28 PM) You should really grab another high-end starter, especially given the strength of your offense. Especially in a 10 team league, you should probably invest in two top-20 starters and mix-and-match the rest. If Martinez/McCullers are your 3/4 guys, you have a good shot at winning the league (I wouldn't trust Rodon to be better than them yet). I agree, but my philosophy is that a better offense is more key than better pitching in my fantasy league. I finished 3rd last year with Verlander, Richards, Carrasco, McCullers, and Stroman as my starters.
  18. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 12:55 PM) 10 team league, slightly less impressive, more realistic, but I can't imagine too many teams out there better than you. I've upgraded my offense and pitching quite a bit from what I ended with last year when i finished 3rd. Mesoraco replaced by McCann Dozier replaced by Gordon Aybar replaced by Lindor Verlander, Richards, and Carrasco replaced Strasburg, Martinez, and Rodon A healthy Stanton Full year of Freeman, Marte, and Harper (traded for all 3 of them in the middle of the season.
  19. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 12:40 PM) Yep. I think Jeff Allen and Brandon Brooks are the OG's that Bears will be looking at. Leming has reported about this, and I agree that these 2 make the most sense.
  20. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Feb 29, 2016 -> 04:27 PM) Assuming that's a 12 team league you have a stacked team. Your OF is ridiculous, by far best in league. Two first rounders and a second rounder. Dee gordon at 2b, Freeman a solid option at first, and C, SS, and 3b are by no means slouches for you either. SP is, I'd think, at least league average or better with Stras, Rodon, Carlo, Lance. 10 team league.
  21. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 12:26 PM) Twenty-eight (nine) is not young for an NFL lineman. It's not old either. He can easily have 4-5 good years left barring any major injuries.
  22. Avi with a 2 run oppo bomb off Brennan. WHO NEEDS ANOTHER OUTFIELDER!
  23. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 12:19 PM) Many of those free agent deals were already consummated at the Scouting Combine. That's where it begins. Ahh ok, I did not know that. Hopefully Bears can get a deal done with Jeffery, and lower that cap hit for this year.
