  1. Graveman, Pollock, and RODON would have been a fine off season, no need for these cast offs
  2. When did the Hackenberg hype start? Seems promising
  3. Not a Harrison fan personally, but let's give him a chance at least The money spent on Velasquez, Harrison, Kelly, and Cueto could have been put to much better use Graveman, Kimbrel for Pollock dump, and a splashier add would have been a fine off season...We don't need camp bodies
  4. I know I have said this before, but I refuse to believe this system is as poor as it is rated between Montgomery, Kath, Cespedes, Colas, Rodriguez and Vera, Kelley, Thompson, Dalquist, and Burke No top 100 guys? Sure, but a lot of these guys are fringe or may end the year in the top 100 (Montgomery, Colas, Cespedes, Rodriguez...maybe Kath and Vera)
  5. What others retired after career years?
  6. I've been thinking this for way too long
  7. Love when former Sox stick around the organization: PK, Thome, Rowand, Willie Harris, Pods, Beckham, Ozzie, etc.
  8. I see those 5 names and think this farm can't be THAT bad, we've seen worse
  9. Now I hope and pray the Kimbrel deal doesn't hurt us...should we start looking at FA 2B? Payroll is already high as ever
  10. Curious how common it is for players to actually return to the teams that dealt them, seemingly doesn't happen much
  11. Cubs "dynasty" lasted shorter than the Seahawks "dynasty" Really shows you how hard it is to win a single title
  12. I haven't been ecstatic with Hendriks (especially with the long ball) and I like Kimbrel, but I just feel there was a way to upgrade the backend of the pen AND address a big bat for way less Rasiel Iglesias and Kris Bryant for example, would have been ecstatic
  13. I think we're gonna look back and wish we added Bryant for less...especially with Eloy still missing games The team with Liam Hendriks didn't need a Craig Kimbrel Bryant could have started full time in RF and backed up Moncada, Robert, and Eloy/Vaughn...Plus we'd still have Madrigal and Heuer
  14. Fortunately they have a ton at the MLB level: Giol, Lynn, Kopech, Cease, and Rodon for now...Stiever, Lambert in AAA and Thompson, Dalquist, Kelly, Vera in the system Hurt to see Pilkington go, but can absolutely afford it
  15. Parke is a great guy, happy for him
  16. Perez is gonna be a very solid pro Yolbert may be as well
  17. Curious what the most successful recent Sox draft was
  18. Missed him, doesn't KAN have a few very promising bats actually?
  19. Was once a very promising prospect, good defensively
  20. Good example of a Day 3 flier with good stats from a big school
