  2. Hopefully Michalczewski makes a club, I'd like to see him get one more chance Super nice/cool guy
  3. Where are we all seeing the KAN roster? Can't find it...I see people saying Sosa, Bush, Walker will be there...who else?
  4. Wouldn't be shocked to see Alonso traded and Jay released, but, despite having a loaded bullpen in the system, I think Colome and Herrera are here to contend next year
  5. Rodon finally shows he can anchor a staff by staying healthy Lopez is our best starter Giolito improves as the year goes on Nova, Santana outperform Shields from previous year and are average Bullpen shines (Colome, Herrera, Burr, Covey, Hamilton) James McCann released in June Abreu bats .280's with 25-30 homers Moncada bats .290 with 25 homers and 80 RBIs Anderson bats .270 with 20 homers and 75 RBIs Eloy hits 25-30 homers with a .300 AVG and 80-ish RBIs Cease debuts in September
  6. Would be HUGE to grab a C that could 100% stick behind the dish 2021 Rutschman Collins Madrigal Moncada Anderson Jimenez Robert Adolfo Bench: Zavala, Sanchez, Garcia, Not to mention Basabe, Rutherford, Gonzalez, Walker, Burger, Sheets, Rivera, Bush
  7. Pass Rather keep Fry and even Fulmer Maybe swap Bummer
  8. Melendez hasn't hit above .250 and has been no higher than A ball...Adley would likely start at A+ I doubt it
  9. Would seriously rather rotate bench options, a guy that just DH's takes up a roster space to me
  10. Don't see him being as highly thought of as Dunning but Garland 2.0 would be major
  11. But maybe Corey Zangari will (absolutely kidding...but expecting a big year from him)
  12. Alonso will be solid until he's dealt...unlike Jay who will suck
  13. I may be in the minority, but I'm hoping we grab Witt as of now
  14. Likely extended and then WS Sheets likely to BIR I'd assume
  15. Not major harm if they do, never dominated KAN and have a crowded OF at higher levels with Eloy, Robert, Gonzalez, Rutherford, Basabe Should spend the majority of '19 with WS however Hopefully dominates and moves somewhat quickly As do I, similarly, I noticed Eloy and Madrigal being chummy in ST...hopefully reunite on the South Side Don't forget Rutherford, expecting a big year...and that's from someone who was low on him for the longest time...Should start in BIR with a chance to end in CHA He's hyped, God willing he stays healthy and dominates
  16. Palka's rookie year reminded me of Josh Fields's rookie year, very similar Year Age Tm Lg G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS OPS+ TB GDP HBP SH SF IBB Pos Awards 2007 24 CHW AL 100 418 373 54 91 17 1 23 67 1 1 35 125 .244 .308 .480 .788 101 179 11 1 6 3 0 57 RoY-7 2018 26 CHW AL 124 449 417 56 100 15 3 27 67 2 1 30 153 .240 .294 .484 .778 111 202 7 2 0 0 3 D97 RoY-5 Let's hope Palka builds off this success Sucks he's already 27
  17. Let's HOPE they make the best decision possible Any names to watch for their 2nd rounder or still kind of too early?
  18. After last year with Kopech, Adolfo, Hansen's struggles, Dunning's injury, Robert's injury, Moncada's struggles, Burger's injury, Basabe's injury (I have to be missing a few), we really need some good luck this year....That would really be great if Hansen can return to 2017 form and Cease dominated...There are plenty of other interesting/talented arms in this system, but none with ceilings like theirs
  19. In the minors it's not uncommon for the team's most prospective pitchers to be #3 (at least at the lower levels), not sure why that is, but frankly way too early to predict
