MLB Pipeline Farm Rankings-Sox come in at #4
ChiSoxJon replied to Jack Parkman's topic in FutureSox Board
Expect Cease to rise into the top 10 this year Expect our top 10 next year to look like: 1) Kopech (CWS) 2) Cease (CWS) 3) Robert (CHA) 4) # Overall Pick in '19 5) Madrigal (CHA) 6) Rutherford (CHA) 7) Basabe (CHA) 8). Adolfo (CHA) 9) Burger (BIR) 10) Hansen (CHA) God are the 2020 Charlotte Knights gonna be fun Would not be surprised to see Rutherford get back into Top 100 discussion this year, he;s my breakout pick this year Also expect Tyler Johnson to fly through the system this year Eloy, Collins, Hamilton, Burdi, Zavala, Ruiz, Thompson, Frare, Stephens, and Burr should all debut in '19 -

Article seems high on Henzman which is good to see Also shows how weak our INTL presence is -
Another friend of Machado we can cut loose
-
The health of a prospect shouldn't dictate this pick
-
Pilkington, Stiever, Bilous, Heuer, Martin, and Sousa all worth attention as well as McClure who should only be there to "rehab"
-
Time will tell on Pilkington, I think CWS sees him with a strong possibility of starting, he was highly thought of through out the league Don't hate Walker starting at KAN as he never mastered the level and the system is loaded in OF, hopefully he catches fire early and move up in late June The IF should definitely be interesting, excited for Zangari Absolute shame CWS whiffs pretty bad with LatAm signings, has to change for the better (somehow they actually have compared to years past)
-
Why isn't "Release John Jay and roll with what they have" an option?
-
Yup ways away
-
I expect them to open with an infield of Zangari, Curbelo, Nunez, Sosa, and Bush...definitely interesting...Hopefully Walker rakes early
-
Whether the White Sox win 50 games this year or 100, we better see development from Gio, Rodon, Lopez, Moncada, Anderson, and hopefully Fulmer...the development of these guys (God willing) and call ups like Eloy and maybe Cease, Dunning, Zavala, Collins, Burdi will be our entertainment this year...Can't complain too much, just don't fuck it up
-
Probably be the most interesting part of our season Bucholz, Clay Rather see Palka, Nicky D, Engel, Leury, Eloy, Cordell, Tilson, etc. over Jon fucking Jay Would have preferred to see Call and Avi too FWIW Jon Jay doesn't not add anything to this team except a cool Miami chain, literally gave a NRI guy over a million
-
Couldn't hurt for pennies, always been intrigued with him...effective when healthy
-
I'd be lying if I said I watched enough of Witt to talk about him but he's been hyped That said, his ETA is probably realistically in '23
-
Decent write up on the '19 Intimidators http://notesfromthesally.com/2019/02/23/previewing-the-2019-kannapolis-intimidators/ Love seeing A ball get coverage, who do we expect to see both with KAN and facing KAN this year? I go to a good amount of Sally League games
-
Typical Nope, but this situation very well may happen
-
Would prefer my deceased grandmother to McCann and Jay as well, literally just taking a spot away from developing prospects
-
Would prefer Clay Bucholz to both Santana and Nova as well as an inning eater with upside, fuck this offseason
-
Only name I'm interested in is Capps https://www.mlb.com/news/fun-players-on-free-agent-market Seems to be an effective guy I'd like to see under Cooper, only 28, and probably cheap, worth a flier to me Flip him at the deadline...would have made more sense if CWS was ready to contend (As would the Herrera, Colome, and Alonso moves) Off topic, while I like Herrera and Colome, one thing the Sox are not short on is relievers (Burdi, Hamilton, Fry, Burr, Bummer, Johnson, Vieria, Ruiz, Johnson, Frare, Kodi, Thompson, Fulmer?, Guerrero?, Adams?)...Almost as deep as their SP and OF units
-
Fully expect this, or 4/$60
-
Also, Hahn made a comment in '17 that in '18 he really wanted HS talent to sustain the ranking of their system
-
Witt Jr., they've been watching him since he was 14 apparently
-
Hahn is a lair, I do not trust this org. with this rebuild, shame to see so much talent wasted
-
We're rebuilding now because the last rebuild never happened Sickening
-
I think he'll finish his career here, probably gets 3-4 year deal to stay here if this year goes well for him, on a team with no talent and no leadership, he's appreciated
