Would it make sense for Murray to play football, cash in on his guaranteed money and if it doesn't pan out, play in the minors for 3-4 years at the minimum and give MLB a shot?
Wasn't he a reach going in the top 10 as well? Odd pick by OAK, not paying off
On Murray, let him chase his money because there's not a shot in hell he can play QB at the NFL level
While Murray would make more in the NFL, I truly don't see him being successful for an extended period of time there while I do see him being more successful with baseball
Been a fan since birth but my life only spans 3 decades:
1) AJ
2) Jenks
3) Magglio
4) PK
5) Thomas
Honorable Mention: Gordon, Buehrle, Sale, Thome, Rowand, Crede, Dye
That'll be sure to draw some more fans AND show commitment to winning
What a lineup we'd have in a year or two:
Collins/Zavala
Abreu/Alonso
Moncada
Anderson
Machado/Sanchez
Harper/Robert/Eloy
B/R mentions old farmhand Alex Powers as trade bait for Sonny Gray

Not fond of his attitude, but agreed, not quite a super team but an immediate winner/enjoyable team, super tea down the road
Robert, Moncada, Machado, Harper, Eloy, Abreu, Collins, Palka, Anderson
