  1. Singer is PHI's top guy it seems...unless Mize somehow falls but they're going with a college P
  2. I'm all for Sean Hjelle from Kentucky, even mre so if they go Madrigal at 4 but I think Roberts is the guy I'm thinking CWS go with him, isn't he already thought of as a relief prospect anyway? Not sure he'll start in the pro ball and definitely not this year but should move fast Not sure about Stephen but I loved his brother, coming out that is Yes
  3. 6 or 7...I think that goes for Singer too, Maybe Madrigal can be #4 but I think even he's 6-7...awesome having this deep/elite of a system...time to keep it sustaining with some HS arms tomorrow and a Top 100 prospect tonight That'd be a Tyler Johnson-esque steal, college relievers seem plentiful as always How sick would it be if Covey pans out? Lopez is a long term lock and so is Rodon if and when he stays healthy, really hope Giolito bounces back as I'm a major fan, but obviously Kopech, Hansen, Cease, and Dunning have ace potnetial...Oh and don't forget about Stephens who should be up real soon and Adams/Guerrero who everyone has hopes for (I think both are bullpen bound) and even lesser guys like Clarkin and Puckett or low level guys like Battenfield, Parke, Henzmann, and McClure That'd be a great haul there, keep an eye out for HS pitchers on Day 2 as well
  4. A Bulldog...best way to describe Singer We didn't suck this bad last year to settle for a Top 10 talent, althoug I like India too, not worth pick #4 Hope not, gotta go BPA in baseball Be happy he can't take Jordyn Adams or Kyler Murray that high
  5. My guess as well, don't think he can be a #1 but a 2-3ish while Kopech, Hansen, and Cease can all be elite aces, maybe Dunning even as well but still the best arm in the class to me It's pretty clear the first two picks will be Mize and Bart (in no specific order), have a feeling PHI takes Singer and forces CWS to take Madrigal, the class's top hitter, if so I'll be happy although I'd settle for Singer...Don't want Bohm and if PHI takes him, CWS has the choice between Madrigal and Singer Hopefully we can all come back and talk about premature rookie ball performances from our favorite prospects I love this strategy as well, hoping for Madrigal at #4 and Sjelle at 46 (not happening) but I know Roberts is more Sox-like, then Day 2 to take 3-4 HS arms
  6. Between both of them returning shortly (Robert first), an influx of draft picks, and several necessary promotions (Gonzalez, Rivera, etc.), there will be a good amount of cuts (Candidates: Cruz, Barnum) and promotions (Candidates: Jimenez, Gonzalez, Rivera, Foster) Still excited to see what Zangari can do healthy now
  7. You answered your own qiuestion
  8. I know he's 23 but anyone think Blake Battenfield is for real?

  10. http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?player_id=641662#/career/R/pitching/2018/ALL Video game numbers, was a top prospect in '16 and fell due to inconsistent mechanics that seemed to have been fixed He'll be back soon
  11. Luca Dalatri is a name to monitor, stock is down due to injuries but earned Matt Harvey comparisons as a frosh at UNC I like gritty Auburn 2B Will Holland too
  12. His command is his big flaw...as it seems to be with Hansen, Kopech...All have ace potential however
  13. Great start for Cease
  14. Mize, Madrigal, and Bart are all very interesting...Not a fan of Bohm and don't think India is worth pick 4, although I like him Pretty sure CWS has their eyes on Madrigal with Singer as a backup, one will be there, if not both
  15. His talent has to outweigh the negative attention That would mean he's a surefire star like fresh out of prison Mike Vick or fresh off beating his wife Chapman, not like a beaten out by Blaine Gabbert Colin Kaepernick or aging Ray Rice after that sickening video came out How should this apply to a minor leaguer? We'll see
  16. Doubt he's taken Maybe an Indy ball team will sign him and we can see him on 60 minutes
  17. They've been down to MIze and Bart for weeks
  18. Rodon was most definitely the superior prospect, hell I even think Fulmer coming out was superior to Singer, but to me Singer is the best P in the class this year
  19. https://www.mlb.com/news/scouting-director-nick-hostetler-talks-draft/c-279382556 Have a feeling that Tuesday our Sox will be taking a good amount of HS arms (3-4), be interesting to see, I think anytime a HSer is picked it's noteworthy Would really like Madrigal/Singer and Hjelle/Beer in the second round but am expecting Griffin Roberts (starter or reliever? Would no doubt relieve this year but long term? I say reliever), especially if Madrigal goes 4, maybe they pounce on Schnell if he's there Would like some HS arms afterwards and I think Hahn would as he said months ago he'd like to bring in HS talent that needs more time to develop/stay in farm longer, also said that's the deepest position so we'll see Some Louisville names to remember: https://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/college/louisville/2018/06/03/louisville-baseballs-2018-mlb-draft-prospects/667132002/ Wolf and Bordner definetely would be nice additions Another guy who will go Day 2 is UCF closer Bryce Tucker who I love Happy Draft y'all
  20. There's enough talent in this class to pass on him
  21. Mitchell actually batting .280 and Hawkins leading the league in long balls
