  1. That's a rarity these days with Kopech, Fulmer, and Cease
  2. Love seeing this, especially from Adams who has struggled Flores and Stephens both get overshadowed but Stephens should be up soon
  3. I think his repertoire and command are near their ceiling, maturity we'll see
  4. India is in the toughest conference as well, really do think perhaps both are overrated but the class isn't too top heavy
  5. That's right, I know there's been more but anyone else we can think of? Funny how these "reaches" are pretty good ballplayers (I didn't like either on Draft Day TBH)
  6. Singer's consistent success year to year and consistency this year lead to believe such
  7. What are some examples of this? Cubs in '14 reaching for Schwarber and taking Sands, Steele, and Cease? What else?
  8. Have a feeling that our top pick is really down to Singer, Madrigal, and Bohm, not all 3 of them will be gone so Schnell is out of the equation
  9. Find it hard to believe Bart doesn't go top 2
  10. This Frost kid has serious pop, wish he got his AVG up This KAN team is gonna have so many All-Stars, can;t wait to see the big promotion waves in 2-3 weeks Dedelow up to .290, fantastic arm too and solid fielder, should get some serious attention
  11. Still think he can be a filthy backend reliever too with a clear head, maybe that's for '19
  12. How I hope Fulmer can fix his control, you lower his walks and he's a very solid starter
  13. How the hell is Tyler Danish only 23? Wild, hopefully he can be a solid 'pen piece, mediocre season but had a nice time with the Sox last year in a small sample
  14. Super surprised he didn't start the year in KAN (as I was with a lot of guys), glad to see him up this high already, may not be a prospect but he's no slouch either
  15. Pretty cool story, can't wait to see him on the South Side Still holding out hope for Gio, just been so inconsistent
  16. Anyone remember that New England kid with like 6 no hitters last year? Obviously the competition isn't too tough but the kid is good enough to commit to WF, no problem taking him at some point https://www.mlb.com/cut4/brennen-oxford-has-thrown-four-consecutive-no-hitters/c-231172888
  17. Saw some of you want Bart He reminds me so much of Mike Zunino, which isn't a bad thing but is it a good thing? He won't be there at 4 regardless
  18. Only think Schnell is in play if Singer and Madrigal are gone (not likely but possible), would definitely allow them to be more aggressive I prefer Madrigal to Singer but I think Hahn and Co. prefer Singer, we'll see I assume they expect MIze to be gone
  19. L-Ville commit too, but has no business going even top 25, let alone 4...still rooting for the faster moving better hitting college bat Beer in Round 2 but Schnell is obviously an option
  20. Finally a sensible man who realizes how many young arms are already in place, yes you can never have enough arms but no reason to keep taking that high, especially if the talent isn't there
  21. I personally think Singer is the most polished arm in this Draft and rate him above Mize, maybe doesn't throw as filthy of a pitch but much more sound, mechanics are a slight worry, especially at 4 but he's the top arm to me Both of them should have an ETA of 2020
  22. Draft is in a few days and no one is locked in, so many names being discussed for top 5 (Mize, Bart, Madrigal, Bohm, Singer, India, Liberatore, Stewart) I'd guess they fall Mize, Bart, Bohm, Madrigal, Singer but could definitely see a HS P go at 2, 3, 5, and MAYBE 4, I'm hoping for Madrigal at 4 or Singer if he's taken, Schnell is too big a reach for me even if it means saving $ for Murray (Which can be a disaster), etc.
  23. Could always be worse but the injuries this year is awful
  24. India>Bohm and India doesn't deserve to go that high
