We can, just not for more than $300k. It sounds like he is an okay prospect, but nothing crazy, and bonuses are down with the new hard pools, so we should be able to sign him for $300k.
Thanks, appreciate the explanation
I'd love that...wonder if it's better to get a handful of okay prospects or go all out for a Robert

Well we might be able to get at least one big name, even though he may or may not be a big talent. This article mainly talking about Acuna's brother links us to Miguel Tejada Jr. for next J2:
Awesome, loved Tejada but I thought CWS can't sign any J2 guys for another year

Hot Take:
Carson ends up a formidable #5 pitcher by year's end
Definitely think Fulmer is a ML starter but what do we think about pushing him back to the 'pen where he could be a star? Obviously the SP depth here is ridiculous as well

Wow, Basabe 5-5 since I ripped his slow start mid game yesterday.
Awesome to see after last year
Really think he'll be in the Top 100 discussion in the fall

Yordano Ventura definitely had the ability to be a star...someone is forgetting Frank Thomas on that roster.
You have to count him, technically.
A decade ago, you would have said that Hamels, Cliff Lee, Utley and Howard had decent to good chances at the HoF. Jimmy Rollins was a really excellent player for a decade as well.
Also, a 39 year old Pedro Martinez was on that roster for part of the year.
I knew i was missing somebody, the homegrown ace...wow
RIP
Now saw KAN suspended Von Ruden, anyone know why? I saw he retired but maybe he abandoned team? Maybe they're holding off on retirement? Odd situation to retire right before your start
So when Kopech is up and Rodon is back do we go to the 6 man rotation that almost never works to save arms/innings of the future or DFA MiGo and put Shields in long relief?
Are we all aware that pre-Draft Gio was a lock to go #1 until he needed TJS? He's lost a bit of velocity since he was 18 but I'm not sure we all realize this (Not that it has to do with this post)
If there was no Kopech, Gio would be an ace as he still has ace potential (The TOR Broadcast also compared Lopez to Severino)

Nice start for Clarkin. Didn't allow any flyouts so far
Biggest asset from the NYY deal...Back-end starter (Even if there's no room for him here)
