David Trexler is off to a nice start for LAA's High A team http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?playe...tching/2016/ALL

Great outing from Adams Also, nice start for Martinez with Kanny

If Eddy Alvarez can't hit n Birmingham it wouldn't shock me to see his release later this summer I know it's early but I don't like seeing Davidson batting so low again Hopefully Zangari raises his average soon Good to see Lassiter 4-7 with 2 walks so far, I view him as a legitimate prospect coming outta UNC Matt Ball now has 8 Ks in 4 IP, keep an eye on him, always interest me since his selection out of HS

Huge fan of Hunter Newman from LSU

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 5, 2016 -> 04:44 PM) O'Dowd will replace O'Connell as the backup C in Winston-Salem. Apparently they like Irish catchers. O'Connell released?
-
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 09:39 PM) Tyler Kolek had TJ surgery today. Sox really dodged a bullet there. What a shame, hope he recovers

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 2, 2016 -> 09:10 AM) both the 1 and comp pick, i really like. the one thing at #10, jones can really fly into the majors really quick, thing is, where is he projected to be in the rotation, a #3 or 4 or 5 kind of a sp??? but next yr, the sox still may be, after the fa leaves, shy 1 sp??? so that is why i am still looking on krook yr.... Jones is one of the safer bets in this class and should be a fast mover The rotation next year should be Sale, Q, Rodon, Fulmer, and Johnson/Beck/FA

QUOTE (ChiSoxJon @ Mar 27, 2016 -> 09:55 AM) White Sox Mock: 1.10. Alec Hansen, Oklahoma, RHP (best college pitcher for 3rd year straight? 5th man to Sale, Q, Rodon, Fulmer by 2018) 1.26. Logan Shore, Florida, RHP (Another arm to bolster system) 2.49. Ryan Boldt, Nebraska, OF (High end college bat to bolster system) 3.86. Matt Thaiss, UVA, C (C is the biggest need by CWS and Thaiss should move quickly, big bat) UPDATED Mock (It's come to my attention Hansen is having injury concerns and Thaiss is shooting up lists) 1.10. Connor Jones, RHP, UVA 1.26. Matt Thaiss, C, UVA 2.49. Ryan Boldt, OF, Nebraska 3.86. Ian Hamilton, RHP, Washington (Still love Hansen as a prospect, if Sox take Thaiss at #10, I'd love him at #26 if available)

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 12:01 PM) Eddy Alvarez continues hitting in AA, puts himself on the radar for a big-league role in 2017-2018. I'll be pleasantly if Alvarez ever becomes a decent MLBer

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 10:47 AM) I've been following him since he signed. Is he going to Kannapolis this season? Or is he too young still? Trey M. is the player I follow the most even though Rondon was my guy a couple years ago. Good chance he is in Kanny this year, although his numbers don't show he deserves it I'm also big on Michalczewski, I think he develops and displays more power this season and climbs up prospect lists Rondon had a MLB glove as a teenager, really hope he can turn his bat around
-
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 10:47 AM) My bold prediction: Matt Davidson hits .280 with 25 HRs before called up due to a struggling Avi. Davidson IIRC had more RBIs than Ks this spring. I hope Davidson is called up before he hits another 25 over the fence, I don't see Avi struggling however, I think if he stays healthy he really adds to the lineup I like Davidson as a 3B/1B/DH with power and now can just hit hopefully, Abreu has no back-up at first besides maybe Sands and Saladino possibly, so I really hope he's up by June

QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 09:56 AM) I'm saying Coats crushes MiLB pitching and forces his way up, never to go back down. I agree, he can be a starting OF a weaker MLB team, 4th on the South Side, rather see him get ABs though at least for now, same with Davidson and Sanchez

QUOTE (oldsox @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 08:51 AM) Is he recovered from ankle injury yet? Not sure, but his lack of production and health really worry me
-
QUOTE (raBBit @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 10:21 PM) I would be psyched if we could get Boldt with the 49th pick. Great hitter, Sox can't draft a bust this year, need to replenish the system

First promotion to MLB: Davidson Breakout Hitters: Engel, Michalczewski, Zangari, Davidson Breakout Pitcher: Fulmer, Purke, Stephens, Dopico, Solorzano Org. leader in: AVG.: Engel HR: Zangari RBI: Michalczewski ERA: Adams SO: Guerrero W: Adams - Davidson plays 70+ games in Majors - Fulmer makes MLB Debut before ASG - Coats, Sanchez, Johnson all see time in Majors - Anderson makes MLB Debut in August - Purke reestablishes himself as legitimate organization prospect - Engel's AFL production slightly falls off but he climbs up prospect lists - Adolfo's struggles continue - Sox have at least 4 Top 100 Prospects entering 2017 in a replenishing system Share any other bold predictions
