I tend to agree he won't be good in the majors, I have never liked him as soon as I saw the hitch in his swing but I am not ready to say he sucks and will always suck in the majors without him getting a fair shot.

Also hasn't been playing consistently. Hard to get going at the MLB level when you play every few days

I only am able to go to a game or so a year for the last 10 or so years and that video and the opening was always a highlight, gave me chills every time.

And I would much rather spend the money on pitching and a RF. McCann is just fine for the next few years with the lineup that will be around him, he will be hitting in the 7-9 range. Find a couple starters, some bullpen guys and a RF and this team is set IMO

The way he handles a young pitching staff which we will have, he doesn't need to hit like this.

Yeah I would assume Collins will be going down to get regular ABs with Castillo coming back up and AJ Reed basically takes the Alonso spot.
