From everything I have seen you might be in the minority. I enjoyed Netflix more but both documentaries gave different perspectives so both were worth the watch. Like you said McFarland really didn't give too much info in his interview
If we are getting Pederson I would much rather get Machado to help our 3B problem. Our hitting would be playoff caliber IMO, SP is another thing though.
I wouldn't call Bohemian Rhapsody a documentary. A lot of criticism from people was the story was really rushed and timelines were messed with a lot. I still really enjoyed it though!
