I really do hate this whole process.

I am looking for a new set of clubs, I am a very novice player wanting to get into golf a little more. I am looking for a set probably under $500, any suggestions on good quality set or brand I should be looking for?

If Machado goes to NYY and Harper goes to LAD, is there any hope for smaller teams and smaller market teams to ever get the big fish? White Sox are a big city team but are 2nd rate to the baseball community and the Phillies are in a similar boat. Both had all the money to offer the best contract to each player. I can't imagine there will be better circumstances for a team like the White Sox, Phillies, Padres, etc to sign one of these players. I feel like this is just bad for baseball

With all these moves and if they add Harper I still don't think Dodgers win the Series.

I have a hard time thinking Jimenez will ever play a full season with no DL stints

We have a 9M 1B/DH now who is a better defender than Abreu who happens to be really good friends with a top FA target. If it might help us a little bit what is the problem? If we don't get Machado you trade him or Abreu and get a prospect back (possibly a better one). What could possibly be the downside here? Because the Indians now have more money? What are they possibly going to do this year with that 9M that will effect us in the long term?

I don't really want to commit that much money to two players.

I hate this thinking. We are clearly going after Harper/Machado and if the players don't choose to sign with us I am not sure how that is Hahn's fault unless it comes out they offered less than everyone else. Only thing Hahn and company can do is put everything out on the table to these guys and try to offer the best contract.

IF we miss out on Harper, Palka can still play LF/RF (badly but can).

Why is it bad? Gives us a solid LH bat for 9M for possibly 2 years. Don't really think it is a big deal
