Joss cost himself a half million dollars, even if they don't step off before Ashley/Hunter they win. Don't put it in the hands of someone else in a game to win a million dollars.
Playing for the Sox, never really winning a World Series that he was actually a part of, injuries later in his Sox career, not staying with one team, only 5 all star appearances (none after 1997), no MVPs after his 5th year in the league.
Aren't we worried about every pitchers health? IF they have had problems in this past it is "oh he is injury prone." If he has had been injury free for 5 years it is "His elbow is bound to burst at some point"
Injury risk is there for every single pitcher. It is just the nature of pitching
I don't know much but I bet if investigations happened in every other Presidency, 90% of them there would be some kind of corruption or profiteering going on.
Happ signing would be a win/win IMO. If we get Machado it gives us a solid rotation piece and if we don't get Machado it still gives us a vet that we can flip if he performs similar to last year.
I'm not sure what there is to be worried about. Anderson isn't going anywhere, he might not play SS but he will still be on the team. I feel like he is excited about the possibility of getting a superstar
I am confused why people want Jose Rondon in the lineup. He is young but isn't like he tore it up when he was up here, he hit .230 & struck out 30% of his ABs. He needs to be in AAA to begin next year
