This organization had a chance to hire a new up and coming manager that was into the analytical part of the game to propel our young guys into success for years to come. Instead they hired a 70 something retired manager who looks like he could break his hip anytime he walks to the mound.
If this is true, how was he even hired in the first place? The game has been going towards launch angle and elevating the ball for awhile now, why bring in someone who seems to be teaching the opposite?
I am happy we won no doubt but we only won this game because of one guy's swing who was in AAA a few days ago. We have to start scoring consistently, tired of winning these low scoring 1 or 2 run games
