  1. Probably just waiting for Seby, who should be back next week.
  2. I honestly think that is it. At this point, it makes sense.
  3. Sosa playing today. Andrus at 3B for the first time..
  4. I'd rather Remillard go than Sosa. Elvis is probably the closest thing to a leader the Sox have, so he's probably pretty safe for the rest of the season.
  5. I probably would have hung onto Honeywell a bit longer. Does anyone know if he's been outrighted before? Gotta imagine Yaz is gone shortly when Seby is ready to come back and Lee is ready to get some PT up here. I'd like to see Thompson and Shaw let go as well. Let's let the kids play.
  6. I just can't..... TLR, Moore and Getz is a worst case scenario. I just can't believe you fire Hahn and KW and do that. I mean, I can believe it because Jerry, but I refuse to accept that Bob is right until that happens.
  7. Great news! Also love that the Sox (finally) do the right thing and most fans just graduate to complaining about Getz/Faber/Grifol. JR will likely f*** it up, but lets at least let it happen first. You can't fire everyone before the season ends, and I would imagine whoever they hire is going to decide if Pedro is the guy or not.
  8. I don’t know how you retain this guy. He’s awful. And it’s not likely he’s JRs guy. It’s gotta be a one and done, right!?
  9. He’ll ignore this data point (amongst several others he’s been provided) and continue to repeat no pitchers ever return from TJS within a year.
  10. Rockies ahead of Sox too. League doesn't matter for straight waivers after TDL is my understanding.
  11. Absolutely should put in a claim and try him out in the pen. Out of options after 2023, but there really nothing to lose. Open spots on 40 man with Liam on 60 day IL, and plenty of fat to trim anyway. I suspect he won't even make it to the Sox.
  12. Wasting a year of Roberts prime in 2024 would sure be tough. Dude is a legit MVP candidate
  13. I wondered who it is too. Doubt it’s Haseley - doesn’t even seem worth mentioning. I didn’t gather from Hahn’s comments that this guy was necessarily sleeping mid game. My mind went to Moncada and AV right away, mainly just due to their low key demeanors. But obviously those guys have been around, so wouldn’t be a new thing, though it sounds like the OKd clubhouse naps might be new. Possible Beni was that vet that mentioned as he’s a new guy and could have found it strange.
  14. Yahhh….some really good BABIP luck early on evening out. He’s not really a big leaguer. I’d much rather let Sosa play.
  15. Ever since Pedro the genius took him out of the leadoff slot where he’d been raking
  16. Is Colas hurt, or in the doghouse? If TA is going to miss multiple games with the arm injury, may as well just take the suspension.
  17. I don’t think Yoan is too interested in a $1-3M deal in 2025. Consider the lifestyle adjustment that would require!!!! Seriously tho, I do think he’ll be prepared to have a decent walk year if the back cooperates. Seems that may be a big if, however.
  18. Honeywell activated. Sammy Peralta optioned.
  19. Yeah, force him to get surgery on that back and hope he comes to ST in 2024 ready to earn his next paycheck. That's all you can do.
  20. Maybe I missed something but who else said something? I saw Burger say he had the most fun he's had playing baseball in a longtime in his first Miami media session, who I assume is 1 of the 2. Who is the other?
