  1. Well considering there is no such thing as the 15 day IL, I wouldn’t hold that guys reporting in high regard. Just piggybacking off others I’m sure. But with Fegan reporting Sosa’s arrival, it’s pretty obvious TA is headed to the IL. What a gut punch. ?Theoretically possible it’s Yoan I guess, but sure doesn’t feel that way.
  2. This x a million. Elvis hasn’t been great, but it’s $3M and all the other options are still here and remain options. Romy and Sosa and JRod haven’t gone anywhere. Elvis will need to start hitting or he’s going to lose PT. But even if he doesn’t, he still has value on this team as a bench piece for the pittance he’s getting paid.
  3. Well, Robert is playing like a superstar, so that's a pretty big difference from last years club.
  4. Literally every team has guys hurt. Look at Twins. Kepler IL, Kiriloff IL, Polanco IL, Correa hurt back, Gallo hurt hammy. Buxton isn't going to play the OF until mid May at the earliest. Its just baseball. Guys get dinged up. But I know that won't stop you from thinking this is something unique to the White Sox.
  5. Nice win. Wasn’t pretty tho. Here’s to hoping TA is OK, and we see him in the lineup tomorrow along with Moncada at 3B and AV at 1B.
  6. Both those called strikes to Elvis were no where near the zone. Awful
  7. Its literally like 7% of their payroll
  8. Benintendi might be boring, and it hasn't been a great start in very SSS, but the deal is fine. $15M AAV isnt exactly superstar money 2023-2027, he adds lineup balance, OBP and is a solid OF. He solves alot of problems. But he isn't some star and Sox fans need to realize that.
  9. Hanser's play that hurt Tim led to a run but wasn't an error. 3 errors, but 4 costly misplays.
  10. Ehhh, I am sure he's fine. He played another half inning after it, no?
  11. Really, really tough day for Hanser if TA is hurt. His mistake directly led to that.
  12. Yes, plenty of posters here have said Gavin is a better 1B than AV.
  13. Lol Sheets....where are the folks that said he was good at 1B?
  14. Both runs Hanser's direct responsibility, and he also takes out TA's knee. Brutal. Thanks for the homer, but my lord.
  15. I suppose all things considered, I'd rather have a tough schedule in April than September. As long as Sox can weather the storm, they'll be better for it come mid-season while Guardians and Twins are playing the tougher parts of the schedule.
  16. Sure, but these things will even out. But yah, Sox need to avoid falling well below .500 in April.
  17. I meannnnn, it was still an awful play that a major leaguer needs to make. He made up for it tho, thankfully!
  18. Well, Hanser got it back. Good boy.
  19. Again, its the 11th game. We're so far away from being "out of it" its not even funny.
  20. I fucking hate umpires. Such a huge missed call there. Make it hurt, Gavin.
  21. Man, its the 11th game of the season. Relax on the hot takes,
