  1. Benintendi might be boring, and it hasn't been a great start in very SSS, but the deal is fine. $15M AAV isnt exactly superstar money 2023-2027, he adds lineup balance, OBP and is a solid OF. He solves alot of problems. But he isn't some star and Sox fans need to realize that.
  2. Hanser's play that hurt Tim led to a run but wasn't an error. 3 errors, but 4 costly misplays.
  3. Ehhh, I am sure he's fine. He played another half inning after it, no?
  4. Really, really tough day for Hanser if TA is hurt. His mistake directly led to that.
  5. Yes, plenty of posters here have said Gavin is a better 1B than AV.
  6. Lol Sheets....where are the folks that said he was good at 1B?
  7. Both runs Hanser's direct responsibility, and he also takes out TA's knee. Brutal. Thanks for the homer, but my lord.
  8. I suppose all things considered, I'd rather have a tough schedule in April than September. As long as Sox can weather the storm, they'll be better for it come mid-season while Guardians and Twins are playing the tougher parts of the schedule.
  9. Sure, but these things will even out. But yah, Sox need to avoid falling well below .500 in April.
  10. I meannnnn, it was still an awful play that a major leaguer needs to make. He made up for it tho, thankfully!
  11. Well, Hanser got it back. Good boy.
  12. Again, its the 11th game. We're so far away from being "out of it" its not even funny.
  13. I fucking hate umpires. Such a huge missed call there. Make it hurt, Gavin.
  14. Man, its the 11th game of the season. Relax on the hot takes,
  15. Glad to see him stay in the org while not taking up a 40 man roster spot, tho. He was pretty good in the minors before the shoulder issues. Hope he bounces back.
  16. Of course Joe Kelly is hurt.
  17. While I agree the risk of losing him in minimal, they likely still need that length in the pen for now. Things haven't really changed on that since was was called up last Friday.
  18. I am aware. You can DFA someone not on the active roster.
  19. Can't say I disagree with you on just playing him. But 1-2 days off isn't worth a 10 day IL stint.
  20. Probably because he looked like s%*# at the plate the last 4-5 games and the toe is clearly bugging him.
  21. With this delayed announcement, I am starting to think this may be a suspension from yesterday versus an mlb roster DFA or demotion. Otherwise the delayed announcement doesn’t make much sense. Then again, not 100% sure on suspension rules for pitchers - know Angels had to play a man short while Rendon was suspended.
