Sox should decline the option and sign him for cheaper. Obviously opens up the possibility of him signing elsewhere, but so be it. That said, they'll pick up his option.

Would have preferred 4 or 5 guys at Charlotte over Leury, but whatever.

Have a really hard time understanding why Soto isn't given more starts! Flowers will start for Sale tomorrow, but Geo back in there tonight!

They should DL Boni either way. Erik Johnson (with Danks to long man), Kottaras or Micah would all be good choices. Kottaras allows Soto to DH vs. LHP, and gives us a decent late inning PH. I like the Micah idea, but I have a hard time believing he will get DH starts against RHP over LaRoche, so I doubt we see Micah until September. Nate Jones is another option, but I'd rather see a bat.
