  1. http://www.star-telegram.com/sports/college/big-12/texas-christian-university/article212457789.html Sound like he's pretty set on going to TCU and that it would take a big offer.
  2. Really think John Rocker would consummate outside his race?
  3. Pretty sure, he's going to school. Same with Rocker
  4. I figured as much because I read that Madrigal didn't go to the Phillies was because he wasn't willing to cut a deal and sign below slot.
  5. To appears to me that Hostetler has been building the foundation of this org with college players who are high floor guys with advanced OBP skills. Now that they have the foundation, I would like to see the Sox go for more upside. Take more athletes with higher ceilings. I know that might scare some White Sox fans but the old regime (Laumann/Bell) is no longer scouting for the team and there’s a new development staff in place.
  6. What a way to go out for Doug Laumann.
  7. I would lean one too. The sox really need athletes and they have a few guys similar to Beer already.
  8. Sorry was really bust and couldn't provide a good in depth answer but I feel like those guys have a higher upside, which was what I meant. India was the position player in arguably the best conference in college baseball. Kelenic could be a five tool guy in center with a good sense of feel at the plate. Liberatore can command his stuff, throws left-handed and has a projectable body that should add more velocity as he matures. Stewart: (See Curveball) Swaggerty: Is ironing out a new swing according to Fangraphs and Keith Law. I wouldn't count him out to significantly, he was considered a top-five guy not too long ago.
  9. I shouldn't have said 1-15 but 6-15. There seem to be fewer questions marks in that range of players. Kelenic, India, Stewart, Kowar, Swaggerty, Liberatore, Scott to name a few. To me, those guys seem like they have fewer question marks about them.
  10. Alek Thomas is a first round lock
  11. In this draft, I’d rather be picking 10-15 than 1-5.
  12. Yeah, there’s definitely some fatigue going on and I think a large portion of that stems from the divisive reaction from TLJ. There was a lot of bad press too. I think that they should’ve pushed Solo back to escape the negative conversations surrounding the film. Hopefully after IX, we get a Star Wars film every two or three years. I think they’ll wait at least a decade to do X, XI and XII. Leaving us the spin offs and the trilogies from Rian Johnson and the Game Of Thrones dudes And why does everyone have to be white? I’m sick of hearing white people say that’s they’re not being represented. That’s the biggest crock of shit that I’ve ever heard. The Galaxy is ever expanding, I’m sure it’s super diverse and I credit for Disney for making sure the cast for their Star Wars films reflects that of the world we live in. More studios and filmmakers should take note. In regards to China, I wonder if Disney/Lucasfilm will try to develop a project that is specifically geared towards Chinese audiences. Paramount did that what Transformers and it made them a lot of money.
  13. I guess Solo takes place before Rebels. That one guy is huge crime lord and plays a really big role in Clone Wars and Rebels.
  14. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/star-wars-boba-fett-movie-is-happening-james-mangold-direct-1113273 Boba Fett will be directed by James Mangold
  15. I can stomach blowouts but this was hard to watch and had to turn it off. I know that Castillo is still under contract but the Sox should consider taking another stab at the catcher position this winter.
  16. Solo is good, I really enjoyed it. While I think Last Jedi is a bad movie due to its terrible execution, I love what it tried to do with the mythology. That being said I think Solo is a good palette cleanser for people who didn't like Last Jedi and wanted something more traditional. I really loved the underworld that the film presented. Hopefully, it is explored more in other anthology films. And this is easily the best shot Star Wars film since Disney bought Lucasfilm, maybe in the entire franchise. You can always tell what was reshoot in a movie (Justice Leauge, Fant4stic) but nothing stood out until the very end of the movie. Alden Ehrenreich was pretty good in it. I had a huge problem with him being cast because he doesn't really look like Harrison Ford but my friend told me to think of it as him playing Han Solo and not as him playing Harrison Ford and that made me come around. The movie also has possibly the coolest, vibe-y scene in any Star Wars film.
  17. True But if you need a steroid to treat a sickness or an physical ailment (I believe that was case for Quintana) then there should be a process for guys to take what they need to get healthy.
