I tried to watch him as much as I could this past postseason. Really liked his bat, but his D left a lot to be desired. And he was in LF. Really don't think he's a real solution for RF defensively. -

Roughly, at this moment, the first (?) options are Sox & Texas -
I would gladly take Ryu on a 3 year deal. Kuechel too on a 1 + option. Next year's FA class looks pretty bleak for pitching as well. Sox can't roll into 2020 with Gio and a bunch of question marks.

I foresee a new 3B coach with Capra either being let go or "promoted" I could see a new hitting coach + assistant. I could also see Vizquel promoted to the MLB staff to keep him in house.

Honest question, who is the better receiver/defender/framer/game caller, McCann or Grandal? I am all aboard the Grandal/McCann/Collins 3 headed C/DH/1B train, I just haven't seen enough of Grandal to know.
