It's not alarming to me because it's something he has improved on as the season progressed. Month by month, his strikeout rate has gone down, with one exception. His rate this month is down to 24%. In my opinion, a player who walks often (which he has been doing lately) and strikes out often (say < or equal to 25%. which I think Moncada can get to long-term) is still more valuable than someone who doesn't strike out and doesn't walk (such as Madrigal's projection).
