  1. I mean he clearly knew or else he would've thrown it in. You can't possibly think he's *that* bad of a fielder that he would just decide to not ever throw the ball in
  2. Or he'll be under-voted because he has played in like 90 games and many other players on the list routinely turn in 5+ win seasons
  3. I'm really curious to see how this game goes. Giolito against a lineup that has hardly even practiced (at least theoretically) for over 2 weeks. He could make them look terrible if he uses more than 2 pitches
  4. We're either going to sweep them for this reason, or they're gonna be super motivated and sweep us. I don't see a very competitive series either way
  5. He was towards the top of this list last year too, partially because he gets so many PAs. However, this year, all these hard hit balls are going straight into the ground

  7. Not sure what the game thread was saying about this but I'm honestly not convinced there's a big drop-off from Madrigal to Mendick. Danny is a good defender too, and I'm not sure a rookie Madrigal is significantly better at the plate
  8. Yup, really hope EE and Mazara are good for tomorrow because the lineup is starting to look pretty weak overall
  9. Adding more RHPs to a lineup against a good RHP, ok Ricky
  10. I wouldn't say it's near 100% (even with the shift, as the bunt still has to be good enough for the pitcher to miss it), but I think you're severely discounting the probability of failed bunts.
  11. Despite the team being competitive, the game threads are somehow even worse (more negative). And I'm not talking about the Eloy reactions, that's all warranted
  12. I doubt Ricky has it in him, but Anderson-Moncada-Robert is a way better configuration than Anderson-Moncada-Abreu
  13. This is fine, but why does it make you incapable of complimenting Robert/Moncada/Jimenez without bringing up Tatis/Semien? We all are well aware that those players used to be in the White Sox organization and were traded. On the other hand, the Sox are a likely playoff team with a talented young core that is good enough to be complimented without constant invocations of players who aren't on the team.
  14. Because it was the minor leagues. He hasn't answered anything in the majors yet
