  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:53 PM) Yup. People have a strange memory with Duke. perceptual bias at its finest
  2. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:50 PM) Rested bullpen and the worst arm in the pen gets the nod because he's a lefty.unreal.paid off Robin You're right, Matt Purke definitely isn't the worst arm in the pen
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) That makes no sense lol. And yeah Lawrie's error is what opened that inning up. Duke probably doesn't even pitch if that play is made. they just made Jennings' unearned, but Duke's earned. Still wrong!
  4. Again, those runs shouldn't be earned due to Lawrie's error, but MLB says they're earned.
  5. Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 24s25 seconds ago Carlos Beltran is only 5-for-27 lifetime (.185) vs. Zach Duke.
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:38 PM) Did anyone else get this super random notification from At Bat?(at the top) yes, and when I clicked on it, nothing happened
  7. Jason Benetti ‏@jasonbenetti 1m1 minute ago That is the first error for the @whitesox since April 30th.
  8. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:34 PM) Yes, I know Saladino's defense is better. But is it so much better, or is Rollins so much of a butcher, that its worth a clearly inferior and less potent bat? I suppose that is where we disagree
  9. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:30 PM) Saladino sucks. For all of you who talk about how he's so much better than Rollins, remember, his OBP was .018 lower than Rollins' last year, in what was by far the worst year of Rollins' career. I don't know why anyone wants to see so much of this dope. defense edit- I also don't expect a 37 year old Rollins to bounce back to his prime days offensively. You'd probably get about the same production from them at that end (and, Saladino's offensive numbers are better so far relative to PT)
  10. Right now, Avila is playing more (not including his DL stint), as he tends to start vs RHPs and Navarro tends to start vs LHPs. Defensively, I don't think there is a worthwhile difference between starting one over the other. Navarro has a .232 BABIP that will go up, and Avila has a .333 BABIP that will go down (especially considering his slow bat speed and seemingly often weak contact). Also, you at least know that Navarro will run into a homer every now and then.
  11. QUOTE (Green Line @ May 15, 2016 -> 02:21 PM) I'll take that kind of a start from our 5 spot. 4.2 IP? I'd take 5-6 innings.
  12. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ May 15, 2016 -> 01:54 PM) The first pitch to Melky that was called a strike is a pitch Gonzalez hasn't gotten all day. As well as the 4th pitch to Frazier
  13. Did Gonzalez get hurt, or has he just completely lost his control?
  14. QUOTE (flavum @ May 14, 2016 -> 09:24 AM) Astros series: Tue- Keuchel vs Rodon Wed- Fister vs Latos Thu- Fiers vs Sale My guess- toss-up (Keuchel sucks this year), loss, win
  15. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 13, 2016 -> 10:09 PM) Players vest in their pensions after 43 days on the active roster and just one day qualifies a player for lifetime healthcare. You're welcome, Michael Ynoa.
  16. I played little league from 2007-2013 and the parents weren't too bad. Even in travel, there weren't any real nutjobs
