  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 01:03 PM) Adam Hoge ‏@AdamHoge 6m6 minutes ago Chris Sale: "We have a much bigger problem on our hands than Kenny coming in here and kicking out a kid and LaRoche retiring."
  2. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 01:01 PM) Nah. He should definitely tone it down, but if he pitches a Cy Young caliber season no one will care about his actions here. But if he doesn't tone it down, he may be pitching a Cy Young caliber season for Boston.
  3. I'd argue that Chris Sale is becoming more of a problem than LaRoche
  4. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 10:35 AM) JR= Snoke KW= Kylo Ren QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 10:41 AM) Where is Rick Hahn? RH= Luke Skywalker (in The Force Awakens)
  5. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 10:33 AM) Kill me now Bob Nightengale ‏@BNightengale 28s28 seconds ago Chris Sale has. Adam LaRoche and Drake LaRoche uniforms hanging in his Whitesox locker Oh god. I wonder what Jimmy Rollins thinks of that
  6. QUOTE (shakes @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 10:35 AM) There are 1700 posts in the thread. And not one of them shows me a source that says his son was to have 100% access, and it was an unflinching agreement, regardless of an ever changing environment. David Kaplan!!!
  7. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 09:55 AM) JR= The Emperor KW= Lord Vader JR= Snoke KW= Kylo Ren
  8. QUOTE (NCsoxfan @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 09:42 AM) Wow, I can't believe there's so many people on here who are blaming it on the Sox management. Unreal. It's really just one person
  9. QUOTE (LDF @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 09:36 AM) so as i see it, the deal was honored. he had unfettered access to the sox ST facility. now come the little fine print. was this a 24/7 access??? no one knows this. Except for David Kaplan.
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 08:47 AM) Just because he owns the company doesn't mean it is him tweeting. I would bet everything I own it isn't him tweeting. It may not be him, but it is obviously someone high up in the company. I'm sure he's aware of it, and hasn't asked one of the co-owners to stop
  11. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 08:38 AM) If anyone thinks this story wouldn't have eventually come out, you are kidding yourselves, and blaming LaRoche is silly. He has been as quiet as anyone. He won't even return Tony Clark's calls. E3 Meat Company ‏@E3Meat 11h11 hours ago Kids in the clubhouse? Cubs say let players police it http://es.pn/257h7kU His meat company's page is full of anti-White Sox tweets. He has not been quiet.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 10:03 PM) Do middle school students no longer take showers for gym class or for after-school sports activities? My middle school didn't even have showers
  13. QUOTE (raBBit @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 04:34 PM) It was. Alex Rios, of all people, went outside the Royals clubhouse and pleaded with Sale to come to his senses. yikes
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 01:20 PM) Not who I was thinking of but look at the new guys they brought in. Frazier Lawrie Narvarro Avila Rollins That's a lot of voices taking over for the quiet clubhouse outside of Adam Eatin before. Also notice that the best player on the team has yet be spoken to. There are also the Tommy Kahnle's and Jacob Turner's of the world who may have had an issue with it
  15. So Sale told KW "get the f*** out of the clubhouse"? I feel bad for KW if Rollins/Avila really did tell him that the Drake stuff was getting old, and then Sale goes crazy on KW
  16. If a couple players complained about Drake to KW but (rightfully) stayed silent during the team meeting yesterday, then I hope these internal issues get resolved. Reminds me of the Bulls.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 12:58 PM) No offense to Chris but the leadership baton isn't with him these days even though he's well respected. Like it or not the Sox brought in new strong voices who have taken over That report makes me wonder if the report about him entering the Royals' clubhouse after the April brawl was actually factual.
  18. QUOTE (LDF @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 09:30 AM) i am sorry, i know i am old, but not that old, i don't know the reference you are stating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sox_Scandal
  19. QUOTE (Gakman23 @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 08:41 AM) On Mike and Mike right now they are discussing how Robin had to basically beg the players to play yesterday after they found out Kenny stepped into the office and made the no LaRoche jr allowed in the office every day. Sounds like a team all on the same page, but I would guess someone probably complained behind the scenes and that's why this happened. That seems... weird. A dissension that extreme is the last thing this team needs. All the positive "improved clubhouse atmosphere" stories from the days prior were refreshing.
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 08:41 AM) Not at all. If Jose Abreu had a kid in the clubhouse every day, KW wouldn't have said squat. And Soxtalk would be abuzz with what the f*** is KW doing if he actually did and Abreu made a stink over it. I just think the team should have a clear policy one way or the other. I think that would be hard with his kid living in Cuba
  21. Hopefully March Madness swallows this up, but as of now, it looks like Ken Rosenthal, Bryce Harper, Blaine Boyer, Kelly Colis, and *sigh* David Kaplan are the main people bashing the Sox, either directly and indirectly. Luckily, Kaplan is getting a lot of flak, although I do see people citing his "report" in defense of LaRoche...
  22. Kelly Collis Verified account ‏@cityshopgirl So proud @e3laroche for choosing #FamilyFirst #BaseballIsAFamilyGame http://foxs.pt/1Z4rnGq
