  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:54 PM) Abreu looks totally lost at the plate. Sox need him to be a star if they want any chance to make a run in the 2nd half. he's injured
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:48 PM) Would imagine Robertson comes in for an inning after whenever Jennings is gassed, then it goes to Rodon, then Adam Dunn fixed (bold)
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:35 PM) Hochevar now has gone 9 straight innings without allowing a hit. Wasn't he the "Wade Davis"-type of reliever in 2013, then he got injured? Happy to see he's back and healthy now
  5. Holland threw 0/8 pitches in the strike zone during that AB.
  6. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:29 PM) My guess is Hahn is seeing if he can get an A ball pitcher for Conor. Gillaspie for Jeff Soptic. Let's do it
  7. People tend to forget that Shuck finished 5th in 2013 AL ROY voting- he hit .293 for the Angels. 2014 was rough for him, as he hit .145 in just 110 ABs. This year, he's at .288 in limited playing time. He's always getting us clutch hits, but he's stuck behind Eaton, Cabrera, and Garcia in the outfield. Does he deserve more playing time?
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:25 PM) If they got the lead, it was over Whoops. Then I don't know. I'm sure he's not injured, since he was warming up (seemingly) without issues
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:20 PM) Wasn't he warming up after Shuck's hit? Oh right. Maybe that was just if we got the lead. In a tie game that could go for many innings, we may be trying to save him for later edit- plus Webb's PC was very low
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:18 PM) Hopefully nothing is wrong with Robertson. I guess they're trying to get him rest, since he pitched last night
  11. We scored three runs off the three headed monster. That has to be a record
  12. Chuck Garfien ‏@ChuckGarfien 37s38 seconds ago When leading after 8 innings this season, the Royals are 47-0.
  13. Having a long reliever sure would be useful...
  14. At least this team has some fight in them
  15. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:11 PM) Like I said about Shuck playing his way into next year Poor Trayce Thompson
  16. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 05:07 PM) What is the point of pinch running Beckham for LaRoche there? That run doesn't matter... Maybe a token goodbye to Gordon...hopefully? Yeah and if anyone, it should be Bonifacio. He's faster
  17. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 04:58 PM) People hate Hosmer and Moustakas because of their immature bro attitudes I'm assuming. Yes. That and their hair.
  18. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 04:47 PM) Cain is so annoying. He's the reason the Royals are my least favorite team to play. He catches everything. I hate them because of Hosmer and Moustakas. Those two just piss me off. Oh and Yordano Ventura
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 04:48 PM) Royals announcers status quo broadcast: Praise the Royals. Tout the upcoming homestand every other pitch. Mock the opponent. I tell you it's refreshing to have Hawk and Stoney. They don't resort to the boring cliche telecasts of praising their own team no matter what is happening on the field and cheap shots at the opposition while saying how to get tickets for the homestand. What cheap shots do they take at us?
  20. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 04:46 PM) I can see that with the water splashing off 'em. I'd head to a concourse with my umbrella. Not just that, but it also makes it hard for people to see
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 04:43 PM) Are umbrellas allowed at the ballpark? That'd suck IMO to get soaked while watching a game. They're allowed but annoying for the people around them
