  1. A 1-2-3 inning for... Dan Jennings? That can't be right. Gameday must be f***ing up.
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:27 PM) I'm hoping they're going to give him a shot at SS. I can't imagine they have money to fill that position next year while also filling some of the other gaping holes on this roster and he's been a solid defensive SS in the minors. He's got a shot to be a tolerable SS for next year, let's give him that shot. And the year after it's Anderson's
  3. And here comes the rain (in the suburbs)... I guess not watching the game is a good thing.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:25 PM) He just got 4 days of rest! It's not just rest, it's his play. Also, four days of rest is nice, but playing two 9 inning games in 9 hours is tough.
  5. With Bonifacio, Gillaspie, Sanchez, Ramirez, Beckham, and Saladino all on the roster, Alexei better be sitting out game two.
  6. Saladino's average has increased from .200 to .308 today.
  7. QUOTE (shipps @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:19 PM) I dont blame Alexei. He is aging and becoming a lesser player as most baseball players do. I lean toward blaming management for not trading him when they should have before. He gave us a lot of good years of decent baseball so I am really not angry at either side. But they better find a way to replace him by next year. Well put. +1
  8. QUOTE (bjm676 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:19 PM) They'll need a long man/mop up guy in Game 2. Good point
  9. Webb and Jennings warming. Looks like no Montas in game one.
  10. QUOTE (shipps @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 03:03 PM) Schwarber might be better than Bryant IMO Doubt it. Bryant will have a better career
  11. 100% of Rios' HRs are against us. The first was on Opening Day.
  12. After 8 mins, the Sox deleted that tweet
  13. Chicago White Sox ‏@whitesox 55s56 seconds ago Moustakas gives the Royals a 3-1 lead over the #WhiteSox in the 5th with a two-run home run.
  14. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 02:18 PM) Not really good umpires today That's quite the understatement
  15. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 02:08 PM) His framing is actually rated pretty good this year, but that doesn't go into fWAR anyway. We only have 4 positive WAR position players. Abreu: 1.5 Soto: 0.6 Flower: 0.2 Eaton: 0.1 That's surprising. This is completely unrelated- Soto really annoys me when he throws the ball back to the pitcher. He leans forward on one knee, throws it back weakly, then scrapes the dirt with his throwing hand. I don't know why it annoys me. I'm usually sitting behind him at games, that's why I notice it. It makes him seem like he can barely throw the ball 60 feet.
  16. Sox best bunters: 1. Tyler Saladino 2. Carlos Rodon T-3. Everyone else
  17. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 02:04 PM) Soto is so much better than Flowers at hitting. Fixed
  18. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 02:03 PM) f*** yeah Soto. Our second best position player by fWAR! Seriously? Because his defense/framing seems pretty bad
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 17, 2015 -> 01:57 PM) Maybe the lesson we should take is that "running when it is going to be close enough as to leave it in the hands of the umps/review" is a bad move that is costing us a fair number of runs? Or maybe the umps/review should do what they're paid to do
  20. f***ing new york. f*** replay. get the call right or eliminate it from the game
  21. Since it's 05 reunion weekend, here's a crazy, five team trade. White Sox receive: AJ Pierzynski Brandon McCarthy Juan Uribe Neal Cotts Mark Buehrle Blue Jays receive: John Danks Brewers receive: Dan Jennings Braves receive: Geovany Soto Gordon Beckham Dodgers receive: Scott Carroll
