  1. White Sox last year vs Indians: 2-17 This year: 7-3
  2. Looked unhittable last night. With his pitch count, I thought there was a chance for a no-hitter. Because he only pitched three innings, will his next start be as scheduled (vs Kershaw) or will it be moved?

  4. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ May 27, 2014 -> 08:34 PM) cruz hit his 17th hr, now at 296,17,46, knew he was a steal at 1/8mil. irrelevant ,i know lol roids
  5. Left-handed hitters are now 0-for-27 against Sale with 2 BB, 12 K in '14.
  6. Rain headed toward Chicago? Seriously, why'd we start it?
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ May 27, 2014 -> 07:17 PM) Sox tweeted first pitch 7:45. I hope they don't have to apologize if it ends up 8:45. Yeah, that apology yesterday was unnecessary.
  8. Also, Abreu cannot hit in the HRD because he's not on the HRD ballot. There aren't write-ins for that, right?
  9. Alexei will make it as a backup (pending a slump). Sale will likely make it if he keeps pitching well, but his DL time set him back. As for Abreu, it'll be tough with Pujols, Encarnacion, Moss, and Cabrera all doing well... so we need to vote for Abreu! I hate when fans act all disappointed when their favorite player doesn't make the team- but they didn't even vote for him. Vote Abreu!
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2014 -> 08:05 PM) Good chance he is off of teh board before we pick. There is, I've heard he's a fringe 1st/2nd round guy. But if he's available at the time, we should take him.
  11. I think a good 2nd round pick would be Casey Gillaspie. Yes, Conor's brother.
  12. Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN · 4h Before that 1B, Alejandro De Aza had a .207 average on balls in play in '14. Career mark is .321. Would figure it's due to go up.
  13. QUOTE (balfanman @ May 26, 2014 -> 07:32 PM) Compared to DeAza? He hit .098 in 48 PAs, so De Aza was (statistically) much better.
  14. I'm a JorDanks fan, but let me remind you how badly he performed in his Major League time this year.
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:17 PM) 27,091 QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:18 PM) 28k a lot of them Yankee fans thank you
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:06 PM) If I remember correctly, Viciedo also hit a go-ahead 3 run homer off Robertson two years ago in the Bronx. The Sox have gotten to Robertson a few times in the 9th now. I remember that too. We can hit him for sure.
  17. 25-25, let's get over .500 tomorrow
  18. How does Tex still put up decent numbers? Anyway, good W
  19. QUOTE (Jake @ May 22, 2014 -> 09:52 PM) No f***ing clue why Belisario was throwing a bunch of offspeed stuff to Tex. Use your gift, Ronald. It's called a mid-90s fastball that breaks like a left-handed curveball Pretty sure it's either a sinker or a fast splitter.
  20. Belisario is pitching the 9th like he's Lindstrom
