  1. Highly doubt it. Seth Beer is a more realistic trade target from Houston, IMO.
  2. That's not even a lowball offer. I would offer him like 4/12 and see if he bites. 4/25, which is 6+ AAV for a guy with a .400+ BABIP? I think he'd jump all over that
  3. I'm about to start Powerball by Rob Neyer which seems kinda sorta similar. Let me know how you like Astroball.
  4. Easily. And I don't get why there's so much doubt. He's 23 and improved vastly between seasons, all while having to play at a new position. I have complete faith in him to continue to improve.
  5. Agreed. It's literally just a three true outcomes aggregator. It doesn't tell you anything you can't tell by just looking at a pitcher and determining if he's a strikeout guy, high walks guy, and/or high home run rate guy
  6. With Giolito on the mound, I bet he will be.
  7. Gonzalez: extremely low BABIP, hopeful that it begins to normalize Basabe: SSS, returning from injury, and heating up lately Rivera: I never liked him anyway haha
  8. ... interesting read. Also, WSD tweeted earlier that Frazier shoved Eaton into a locker during their altercation in 2016
  9. Oh, casual fans will hate Collins, but I couldn't care less. He's gonna be a very solid offensive player.
  10. You think Mendick and Collins would be rushed if they were called up in the next month?
  11. What has gone the wrong way though? Is a marginal increase in K-rate over a 3 week span really that big of a deal? If you ask me, the biggest difference between April and May is that his BABIP dropped from .370 in April (slightly above career average) to .326 for May (slightly below career average). His overall numbers, as a result, seem like a decent indicator of what he'll be moving forward to me.
  12. So basically, you're both establishing that K-rate over a small sample is meaningless
  13. A lot of the skepticism seems to be from people thinking he's in a slump. However over the past 2 weeks he is hitting .263/.349/.526 for an .875 OPS.
  14. Somehow tying/winning would be extra satisfying with Osuna being the pitcher.
  15. What did they say about Eaton yesterday?
  16. Of course Leury and Moncada hit liners right at guys to start the game
  17. The Crawford Boxes should be scared of all the baseballs he's gonna hit out there.
  18. Same. Not sure why I waited so long!
  19. Right. I'm just speaking to the hypothetical where they both got Alonso and Jay and were the high bidder
  20. It can't hurt, in that case. Take every advantage you can get for a generational talent.
