  1. I wonder which meat of LaRoche is in Kaplans mouth
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 16, 2016 -> 10:51 PM) Someone pro-LaRoche is clearly leaking stuff. His meat company is giving these tweets a thumbs up as well Yes I know so we should be taking anything he says with a grain of salt.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 16, 2016 -> 10:46 PM) Better win this year or there's no doubt in my mind he requests a trade https://mobile.twitter.com/thekapman/status...310390891065344 Kaplan comes how many hours after this broke and is throwing his 2 cents in.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 16, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) https://mobile.twitter.com/thekapman/status...306078743855104 Whats even worse with Kaplan taking Laroche side is that Laroches meat company is like egging Kaplan on.
  5. Adam LaRoche - I am all about family too...as a former GM...my 5 boys were allowed to partake in spring... https://t.co/485QNm4Rty https://twitter.com/JimBowden_ESPN/status/710306693758910464
  6. No judgment, but were I LaRoche and choosing between $13M job or keeping my children with me constantly, well, you can always get more kids. https://twitter.com/RattoCSN/status/710223959111782400

  8. Some should change the title of thread to LaRoche retiring over Drake gate lol
  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 16, 2016 -> 03:20 PM) The other thing is, you say something like KW says, and how is LaRoche ever going to be comfortable ever bringing his kid in the clubhouse, whether it's once a week or once a month? You know KW is taking attendance. What is the cutoff between fine and too much? LaRoche walked away from a lot of money in a rather short period of time. Obviously having his son there meant a lot to him. As I said, I have no problem with the White Sox having a policy you can't bring your kid in every day, but they should have had it in place a while ago. If the White Sox could have signed Alex Gordon but Alex wanted his kid in the clubhouse every day during spring training, I really doubt KW would have said that would be a deal breaker. And if he did and that news came out, everyone would rightfully be blasting KW. All it takes is one person to take advantage of something and it can ruin it for everyone else. They have an open policy saying it's OK to bring your kid in. They probably never said before how much a player can bring their kids in because they never had one that brought their kids in everyday. But it's like taking advantage of something and taking to an extreme when they say is ok to bring your kid in then you bring them everyday. Would be like going to Sam's club to try a free sample of pizza but then sitting there and eating an entire pizza in samples. Just because there isn't limit doesn't mean it's right to take advantage of it.
  10. Mlb network might be cutting out the Sox game. Looks like they are going to the mariners and giants game
  11. Things Adam LaRoche isn’t big on 1. School 2. $13 million 3. Shaving 4. Letting deer live 5. Making contact https://twitter.com/WriteSox/status/710192654605283328
  12. Ken Williams said he has Jerry Reinsdorf's backing on his stance on LaRoche & son. https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/710193676094279680 The #WhiteSox will continue to permit children in the clubhouse, but just not every single day, Sox VP Ken Williams says. https://twitter.com/BNightengale/status/710193706230550528
  13. To me I have no problem with the Sox asking him to dial it back. Its a business not a day care. Seems the Sox did everything they could and making it comfortable for Drake to be there. But Laroche is payed to play and produce but he didn't last year. If he was embarrassed of the way he played last year you would think he would be more embarrassed that his kid has to watch him play like crap. I'm sure things might not go well in the club house at times but having the kid sit there all time and possibly see that stuff isn't very good either.
  14. Sources: LaRoche chose to retire after #WhiteSox prez Ken Williams told him that he no longer could bring 14-year-old son into clubhouse. LaRoche’s son, Drake, 14, has traveled with him for several years. Adam, in a Chicago Tribune story last year, called him team’s “26th man.” https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/710181386380947456 LaRoche’s friend, #Brewers pitcher Blaine Boyer: “He’s an unbelievable father, an unbelievable husband, a friend you can only dream of.” https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/710181602412769280 Boyer added: “I honestly think this is between good and evil. I know which side Adam lives on. I’m thankful to see the way he’s acting… https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/710181745233006592 “…it’s an unbelievable test of who he is, the husband he is, the father he is.” https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/710181821770702848 Source: LaRoche told #WhiteSox yesterday he would take a “couple of days” before making final decision on retirement. https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/710182825836711936

  17. http://www.csnchicago.com/white-sox/whats-...oche-retirement Talks about some possible replacement ideas
  18. Rollins on LaRoche "He’s done well for himself...and he said he had enough. Once you get to that point it’s hard to talk a guy out of that." https://twitter.com/ChiTribKane/status/709875838263566336 Rollins (37) on LaRoche:'He was going to give himself a chance. And he's dealing with back issues again, u start weighing those things out' https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/709875702124773380
  19. With my belief of the Sox possibly being short a bat before but even more so now. Your big bats are Abreu/Frazier, then lawrie. After that you got Melky and eaton. Hoping avi gets better offensively and Rollins can play fully really makes the Sox offense worrisome. They really need to get another bat and probably more so being lefty.
  20. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/jose-ab...-for-white-sox/ Another article about the better club house this year. Seems hopefully they will more lively this year.

  22. Scott Kazmir looked awful in a B game this morning vs the White Sox but this Chris Sale kid might have a future. https://twitter.com/keithlaw/status/709445828910256128
  23. #whitesox at Royals lineups https://t.co/t1vKQouPpq https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/709402639612575745
  24. Update: Sale threw 75 pitches (46 strikes) today in B game vs LAD. https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/709442413375430656 Chris Sale's B game line: 4.1 IP 4 H 2 ER 2 BB 4 K 1 HBP. Threw 75 pitches, 46 for strikes. #WhiteSox https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/709442263441498112
  25. Saladino and Rollins can play 2nd as well as ss and 3rd. Lawrie can back up 3rd so I really dont see Sanchez making it. Saw that Shuck it's pretty much on the roster in some reports. So that probably leaves avi unless he gets traded or sent down as the last roster spot.
