  1. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 29, 2017 -> 09:28 AM) Where did you see that he might get called up? Dustin Fowler has indeed been called up by the #Yankees. They plan to announce it later. https://twitter.com/Joelsherman1/status/880417085209366528
  2. Plus thing with playing the yankees right now is sox get to see miguel andujar and possibly dustin fowler today with a callup. Maybe guys that might be on sox radar if yankees take a run at Quintana
  3. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2017/06/28/jos...kees-white-sox/ "There were 10 clubs watching Quintana pitch Wednesday evening at Guaranteed Rate Field, where Quintana fired 6 1/3 scoreless innings and allowed two hits and four walks while striking out six in his team’s 4-3 win."
  4. K-Rod to minors once deal with #Nationals is done. Team liked K rate, K/BB rate. HR rate clearly alarming. Trying for lightning in bottle. https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/status/879430392457175041
  5. First Burger bash at Guaranteed Rate Field. #WhiteSox first pick to meet the press, take some hacks with ballclub before Sox host Yankees. https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/879388525740908545
  6. Next start for Quintana will be big coming against the yankees who could be potential suitors.
  7. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 24, 2017 -> 10:50 AM) Which offer do you take for Q: Astros - Tucker, Paulino, Fisher, Colin Moran Dodgers - Verdugo, Calhoun, Buehler, Kyle Farmer Rockies - Rodgers, Tapia, McMahon, Almonte Yankees - Frazier/Rutherford, Mateo, Sheffield, Florial Which deals would require a + (be it Frazier for the Yankees, relievers for the others) to get it done, how much, etc. I think both dodgers and yankees wouldn't do those packages. Both are 3 top 100 prospects packages which we only got 2 for sale trade. Plus i remember reading that the dodgers were high on buehler and not sure he would be available. Sox would probably need to add more to the dodgers or yankees .
  8. QUOTE (turnin' two @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 08:21 PM) Very true, but they may not have the urgency to trade one of the game's top prospects. Same thought with nationals not wanting to trade anymore top spects for bullpen arms but look where it got them
  9. Big game with astros and A's playing tonight. Astros get full front stage with gray pitching against them. Kinda hope the stros beat him up since hes one of the guys they are looking at
  10. QUOTE (turnin' two @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 07:55 PM) The problem is, oddly enough, the Rockies pitching has been pretty solid. Yes but they have younger guys that will need to pitch deep in the season and post season. Not sure some of those arms are going to be full strength as the season goes on. Plus you can never have enough pitching.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 19, 2017 -> 09:06 PM) I don't think I have ever seen anything like this. Its funny that the sox have a better pen then the nationals
  12. Nationals pen blows the lead again. Jacob turner gives up tying homer to stanton
  13. https://www.fanragsports.com/mlb/inside-bas...prise-quintana/ "Could the Dodgers be a surprise entry in the Jose Quintana sweepstakes? They certainly have the prospects to get a deal done, and there’s a belief ChiSox people are eyeing them. While the Astros, Pirates and Yankees have been suggested to be the most likely landing spots, the White Sox were frustrated by Houston’s offers and the Pirates don’t look like a contender to this point. Quintana’s salary would fit the Dodgers’ aim to keep a semi-reasonable payroll. Though they already have more potential major-league starters than anyone (and five left-handers if Scott Kazmir returns to join Clayton Kershaw, Alex Wood, Rich Hill and Hyun-Jin Ryu) but they seem to strictly adhere to the bromide: you can never have too much pitching."
  14. Luis Robert through 5 games with the DSL White Sox: .231/.500/.538. Seven walks, two strikeouts, three stolen bases. https://twitter.com/scottmerkin/status/876571917339303936
  15. http://nypost.com/2017/06/17/cashmans-trad...an-starter/amp/ Quintana stuff is at the bottom of the article "All of this is why — though the Yankees and White Sox have not made a trade since 2009 — Quintana makes sense, as long as Yankees scouts are comfortable his high ERA reflects more on being constantly in trade rumors while on a poor team rather than a decline in stuff. Also, Cashman would have to be comfortable with Quintana’s past, because in recent years the Yankees GM has tended to shy away from players with PED histories, and the Mets released Quintana in the minors after he failed a 2007 test — which actually led to him signing to play in the Yankees’ minors. He would cost the kind of prospects who would help alleviate some 40-man roster crunch — this is made up by me: Adams, Frazier, Mateo and Estevan Florial. He is just 28 and lefty. Plus, he is under control through 2020, and how his team-friendly deal is structured Quintana would cost just $5.3 million toward the luxury tax payroll next year. The Yankees would have plenty of competition for Quintana, notably from the Astros. But a lot of Cashman’s history points toward him as a real possibility."
  16. https://www.fanragsports.com/mlb/inside-bas...yers-needs/amp/ Heymans full article. List possible spots of houston, cubs, yankees and dodgers who could use/look at Quintana. Also nationals could use robertson
  17. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2017/06/trad...ers-rox-as.html "On the American League side, Heyman focuses on the White Sox, who have quite a few interesting trade pieces, as recentlyexamined by MLBTR’s Jeff Todd. He suggests that there are indications the Sox do intend to move lefty Jose Quintana this summer — and they don’t think they’ll need to accept a sub-par return despite his struggles so far. There’s some “belief” that Chicago could be hoping to draw interest in Quintana from the Dodgers, Heyman notes in the N.L. post. Meanwhile, the organization isn’t as interested in fielding offers for first baseman Jose Abreu, per the report."
  18. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jun 15, 2017 -> 06:19 AM) And Rodon has to come up as well Rodon still has a couple more starts in the minors before he comes up
  19. Dusty not mincing words: "We need some help. We need some help, big-time." https://twitter.com/MarkZuckerman/status/874463470347005952
  20. QUOTE (ron883 @ Jun 11, 2017 -> 08:04 PM) Robertson and swarzak for robles I think you would be starting with robertson and kahnle would have more of a chance to be talking robles.
  21. Nightengal has said the astros are pretty much looking for a top rotation arm and lefty reliever. Dont think they need robertson. On the other hand the nationals desperately need bullpen help and teams know that so they will ask top return for their relievers.
  22. QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ Jun 10, 2017 -> 09:17 PM) Get Mike Rizzo on the phone asap. Robertson for robles
  23. Nationals with another blown save and bullpen loss in extra innings. Hopefully they come calling for robertson
  24. #WhiteSox GM Rick Hahn: Luis Robert likely to make DSL debut next week. @scotgregor has the story. https://t.co/YeM4GEZza1 https://twitter.com/dailyherald/status/872651296171368448
  25. Hahn aslo said he hopes the sox light up sale
