  1. Romy the only guy on the 40 man roster to bring up until Eloy is back? Not good
  2. For the little he would cost I wouldn’t hate Joey Wendel. I don’t think he’s going to put us over the top or anything, but just a LH bat that can play 2B and not be a black hole on offense would help.
  3. Yeah if you get an impact player I’m obviously not going to complain…but let’s be real, that ain’t happening. It has to be a player that is obviously better than Pollack. The real question, is if we can get a LH 3B could we pull the trigger? Is there any glimmer of hope Yoan can still play 2B?
  4. I agree that I don’t see how it can be an OF/DH. Are we going to acquire a player better than Pollack? We can’t play a worse LH hitter just because of what side they hit from. Unless Eloy doesn’t recover….
  5. Hellen Keller would have known to put Ruiz in. It was a flat out idiotic call to put a rookie starter in the 8th
  6. Davis Martin was the wrong call in the 8th. How is that not the managers fault?
  7. Yeah really a disservice to Martin. Scenario he’s never been in to hold a lead for a team desperately needing to put wins together…only Tony
  8. I know Ruiz hasn’t been great…But I’m not sure in what world a rookie starter in the 8th was a better idea than Ruiz
  9. Shouldn’t be possible to have lambert and Davis pitching in the 7th and 8th…but here we are
  10. Jose and Zeby squared up fastballs to the track. Wind blowing in?
  11. Is Vaughn that slow? Seems like he had time to round 3rd and have a legit shot at scoring. No camera angle tho, perhaps he didn’t pick up the ball
  12. Went from looking like we wouldn’t touch Gausman to 1-0 real quick
  13. Important play there by Harrison. Sox usual crappy D and that’s a hut
  14. There were so many people here trying to trade Vaughn in the off-season….
  15. Yeah this is getting brutal. At some point someone had to realize this isn’t enjoyable to listen to
  16. Of course I don’t get to watch the 1 good all around game the Sox play all season (don’t care if it was against the tigers)
  17. Beautiful slide. Also not sure he could have hit that any harder
  18. Well you’d like more than 5 but good outing by Cease. His incredible stuff is almost a burden to him at times, the K’s rack up the pitches. A few more ground balls wouldn’t hurt. Of course better command wouldn’t hurt either, but both incredible stuff and great command is a rarity
  19. Lol wow, a new way to give up runs and that was on Mendick. Not a great throw but looked like he actually closed his glove too soon, it was very reachable
  20. A tired Foster is the only option? going to shaky…at best. Also feels like the Sox are somehow self sabotaging themselves with this roster. We shouldn’t be this tight on pitching with expanded rosters
